i think both rue and cassie were casted perfectly. not many people could play those roles and have the audience still rooting for them, because if either of those characters had different actresses, i’m 99% sure most people wouldn’t root for them
@@roselyngomez3271and I’d be mad if my daughter doesn’t understand that sleeping with her best friends boyfriend has consequences, but I’d still be pretty mad she’s interrupting my soaps
I've never loved a lead character like this in my life, especially one that's more of an anti-hero rather than a protagonist you should root for all the time
She's a grey character!! Not hero, not villain. Just human. Flawed and beautiful. A grey character. Like Snape. They tend to be more loveable because they're relatable.
@@creasedhorizon8931 Snape wasn’t a victim lol, he cursed James whenever he got the chance and eventually became a death eater. They both hated each other
Honestly because her in real life is like a polar opposite of rue. Rue would probably hate Zendaya 🤣 she probably would think she's not traumatized enough LOL
"I'm not sure you should be behind the handlebars right now" "Rue, are you on drugs" "Yess" Honestly, Rue being disgusted by Nate just makes me like her even more
I love Rue so much she is literally my favourite character in the show, beneath that aggressive behaviour is an incredibly humorous and likeable person
HAHAHAHA THE "I'm 17 you fvcking creep sign the slip" was hilarious💀💀💀Tbh I'd say something like that I feel like. AND OMG THE "Rue. Are you on drugs? yes."
I love how Elliot's just THE most awkward person in ever single scene of his Also (I have NOT seen the show yet) is he bi tell me he's bi PLEASE LET HIM BE BI i know that the tattooed, ear pierced dude is a bi stereotype but from a bisexual person, he gives HUGE bi energy ok-
no because watching this for the second time, and the scene with cassie yelling and walking away and coming back, makes me realize that teenagers really do act like this! 😭
I love the fact that medias are showing more "unconventionally attractive" people, as a person with a big nose, it was really refreshing to see a girl with my same nose on screen....after so many years of Sharon Stone/Pamela Anderson/Marilyn Monroe/ Meghan Fox I love seeing more normal looking girls
@@basmentchild4879 I thought the original commenter was trying to allude to how some people say that POC (like Zendaya) are technically "unconventionally attractive" because they don't fit traditional European/Eurocentric beauty standards. So someone like Zendaya (who is clearly a POC with notable features like a larger nose) still being considered pretty and desirable is a good thing because it shows a different type of beauty. But I agree that it sounds backhanded.
@@kellygreengables3936 Like he said though, Zendaya is not considered unattractive regardless. She's widely considered conventionally attractive and just bc she's poc doesn't counter that. Idc either way, but this initial dude's point feels like an unnecessary compliment to the show.
I wonder if anyone apart from Maddy has had a birthday yet. Like now Rue is sober I wonder what she would do for her birthday or who she would hang out with.
I’d hope she’d hang out with Lexi, or maybe Jules, but that most likely won’t ever happen, Maddy seems like the person to plan surprise parties though, it’d be interesting to see in a future episode.
Rue is so Awesome and so Funny! 😂 I can't get enough of Her!❤ Every scene is funny, but I Love when She slaps Eliot's head and says that!😂 I Love Rue!❤
I relate to Rue on so many levels, mainly on the weed course cause it makes me feel good and makes me feel happy temporarily. I don’t abuse it but at the same time I have a shit ton of issues as a 17 year old myself.
