Damn this song brought a tear to my eye thinking about all the great times I had as a teenager. Now I'm grown with my own teenagers and they love when I start playing all these old jams. They straight fya
Put them on to all the hits OG, let them discover the gritty sh!t themselves if need be; speaking from experience (I'm 40) rap music made corruption attractive.
They should've never let the Dip Set battle the LOX. Dip Set were unalive men walking before the verzuz even started. Just due to what you have mentioned + the LOX been in the game since before Biggie was gone & got so many classic bangers under their belt that they didn't even really have to dig that far into their own material bag to get the W. Ultimately meaning in all reality they actually took it easy on Dip Set & still unalived them with ease
I met Eve at a restaurant in Silver Lake and told her this was my favorite song of her’s. She immediately gave credit to Swizz for his beat. She was so dope and friendly, even though I was talking to her in the gender neutral bathroom!

I have been listening not rap music since 86 and one thing I always hated was female Emcee's, I have respect for a couple that wrote their own Rhymes like Lyte and Queen La but not enough to cop their albums, I did buy Emcees Lytes poor Georgie single tape
