Every time I hear this, I am just thunderstruck. It is absolutely perfect. Lang Lang and Rufus Wainwright - and incredible lyrics that are so meaningful is magical.
Every time I replay this video, I am thunderstruck by the sheer perfection of Lang Lang’s genius, Rufus’s incredible voice and the magnificent orchestra. Love it! It is a treasure!
The mastery of Lang Lang combined with the incredible voice of Rufus Wainwright singing New York Morning by Elbow is sheer magic! Wonderful! Perfect! Bravo.

@@JorgelovesHD Totalmente! Este video es muy dificil de conseguir! Y como casi todos los covers que canta Rufus, su versión supera las originales, en mi humilde y fanática opinión
Such a beautiful rendition Rufus, I would love to hear my two favourite artists do a duet together sometime?? I’d much prefer to hear you sing with Guy Garvey rather than the James Corbin fellow...I, in all honesty felt he ruined your gorgeous rendition of one of my favourites by you. You however were superb as were the band. Others will probably disagree but hey, I’m just incredibly biased. Your voice literally moves me to tears at times (embarrassing so once in the midst of one of your concerts....a Joni song which I cried/sobbed through from start to finish as she’s been my lifelong companion musically and has experienced so much pain of late, I feel just for her so deeply) Your singing was so gorgeously emotional, heartfelt and wow! your voice was and still is maturing so unbelievably beautifully. I’m really looking forward to another twenty years of beauty and hopefully more concerts down here in the Antipodes in the not so distant future, once Covid has run its filthy course. Loving the Kimonos btw! Stay well please and thank you for the many, many hours of pleasure you’ve given both my husband and myself through the years. 🙏
Kind of a weak voice. Not really up up to such a beautiful song. Sounds like a pretty good performance at the local high school "pop night" choir concert
