SNKs versions of the giant skull energy pillar effect for the move are just way better than what capcom did in the CVS series. The blood red column appearing to reveal a huge skull on top of it and dissipating as the skull opens its mouth just screams pure evil. Capcoms version just looks like an energy skull beaming to space.
Small trivia. Kotaro Fuuma is actually the first videogame character who has a God Press/Gigantic Pressure technique in fighting games. He has it in Aggressors of Dark Kombat/GANGAN, that game came before KOF 94
Love this game I was playing this game when I was a child still awesome and now the upgrade with the graphics it's look so realistic love it man to share it with our childhood memories
Damn, you could say the KOF XV creators were under... Gigantic Pressure to recreate that move accurately... uh... Anyway, am I wrong or does Vice and Mature not have a move like that one?
@@fernandotorres4489 Then O. Yashiro can do it too because he is also a Hakkeshu, much like Vice and Mature, and Rugal can do it because he gets the Orochi power in his Omega form. Vice and Mature's specials are both entirely same essentially because they both involve releasing energy by grabbing the opponent and slamming them onto a surface. Orochi Yashiro's version of the skull energy release is mostly on the ranged side.
It would have been nice if Akuma got this move when he becomes Shin Akuma in CvS2 since Rugal gets the Shun Goku Satsu when he becomes God Rugal. He could have also gotten the reflector move since God Rugal gains the Ashura Senkuu as a special.
Totally missed that one, however the move animation is exactly the same as '94 and I personally wouldn't class it as Gigantic Pressure, more of a God Press. I included the original '94 at the start just to show where it came from but if more people point it out, I'll make the video again!
