Definitely as an Irish fan at the time! Reckon they'll be better for this experience though. Think a lot of their errors were uncharacteristic and Scott McLeod is still a very good defence coach.

Happy when they win, suddenly no faith or loyalty when they lose, wanting immediate changes. Whay happened to sticking by your team win lose or draw? Oh wait, nope, they lost. Better not back them against SA. Zero faith! What, are the All Blacks not allowed to lose multiple matches? Just cop the losses, and accept that the ABs are allowed to lose like EVERY other team in rugby! A kiwi loss is a win for World Rugby. And what is Robinson doesn't magically start winning games? Sure, he gets a bit of breathing room, but what if it isn't mass success? Do fans like yourself keep whinging, complaining and demand another coach? Cop the losses, keep faith and move on without the excuses

There is no block. Both runners are viable options and as long as they keep a straight running line they dont actively impede the defence

@@eamonlyons8318 Fair enough. I can see that in presenting an option, they held their line up to the point when the pass was made. That said, I still think some players are straying very close to that borderline with a technique that is being used increasingly. Who would be a ref :).

Think he'll definitely be able to do the choreography - his brain seems sharper than ever. Do worry about his body though! Carbery probably the most convincing replacement so far with his performance vs. France in the 6 nations, but Sexton's a once-in-a-generation player who's very hard to replace.

Ireland peaked in 2018 with the 6 nations grand slam, 2019 Ireland got to world number 1 due largely to other countries dropping world ranking points, Ireland did not evolve their game in 2019 & were figured out, they also suffered from a lack of form.

I’d argue the peaking too early thing is a bit of a red herring. IMO in 2019 we didn’t get “figured out”. We lost focus. Look at the England game in the 6Ns that year. Henshaw at FB wasn’t a selection for winning that game. It was a selection with the RWC in mind. And when performances dipped a collective panic set in. We peaked at the right time in 2015, just got unlucky with injuries. We didn’t peak in 2010. In 2007 we peaked in that years 6Ns and messed up our prep for the RWC. So I’m not too worried about peaking. I am worried that we have a stupidly tough route to a potential final. England have to play Argentina and one of Wales or Australia to make a SF. We have to play South Africa and one of France or New Zealand. Those are 2 very different routes.

I think that there is plenty to work on, though. Last 6 nations was only OK, should have closed out that 1st test, and players need to up their club form.

More than a few of them! Farrell/Lancaster/Catt have really shown their worth since being let go by the RFU in 2015.
