Glad you tried the basepin. A stock pin if it backs out a slight amount will shut a Ruger down. You are building a great shooter that is looking good. Good video.
Looks like a beautiful day to be outside shooting! Love the upgrades you keep working on. Man that thing shoots! Definitely the year of the sixgun! Awesome video brother...made my day.
Had to watch this again. You are really doing nice stuff to your Blackhawk. Brownell’s sells the Ruger Super Blackhawk Hammers but as of Sunday, they are out of stock. Another really great addition are Ronnie Wells Blackhawk rear sight insert. They give the same picture as a Hamilton Bowen Rough Country rear sight for like $70 plus shipping. They definitely make a great functional and affordable addition to any adjustable sight Ruger.
That sight is on the list of final touches. Thank you very much for the kind words. It’s been amazing to me what a little work can do to “wake” this pistol up so to speak in performing better.
Nice shooting I mentioned on one of your other videos that I have that same gun and I put a different hammer and high length in the grip frame but I forgot to mention the guy that had it before me put a trigger kit in it like you did and I also bought one of those belt mountain bass pens in Elmer Q style works really well I’ve got such a great trigger on that gun it’s just makes it so easy to shoot. Good luck and keep Shooting
Nice upgrades, im slowly working on my blackhawk as well 👍i tried the power custom base pin, it didn't work out so got Belt Mountain/ keath style as well and some rosewood panels from ruger 😁😁
