Question: not sure if you said it but how is your 14.5 set up? I just put an H2 buffer in my 16" but I haven't had a chance for a range trip. I have used 16" with a CAR on the sierra 5 and it was throwing to 1:30-2:00 o'clock.
14.5 w/ fixed gas block mid length system (Ballistic Advantage Hanson barrel), full mass BCG, H3 buffer and carbine spring. With Surefire 5.56 RC2, Rugged Alaskan, Deadair Wolverine - very pleasant to shoot. The Sierra 5 I've found really gassy so far on everything I've tried it on so far.
Sounds fantastic! Mine has been in ATF jail, for a couple of months now. I already have a Griffin Reece 5. It'll be interesting to compare sound differences.
@@Keep_It_LoadedAlso, have you tried the Breek Arms “Sledgehammer” charging handle? I have that and the Raptor SD, and believe the sledgehammer to be superior. Less gap, and the ledge is even with the top of the receiver.
@@mikes8915 I thought so. I found the Alaskan to be quieter and have a better tone. Surprisingly less flash also. Yet..... the Huxwrx can had no blow back in my face and a good ejection on the 10'3
