That’s what Angelica gets for laughing at Tommy and Hector being afraid of getting their booster shots *and* for tattling on them for trying to run away.
Angelica: You FREEDY CAT Babies are in a LOT of TROUBLE NOW! HERE THEY ARE HERE THEY ARE HERE THEY ARE! Also Angelica: *GETS the SHOT* THAT HURT! Me: KARMA ALWAYS comes BACK to you, LADY!
Well, I don't like shots either and I'm 38 yrs old. I thought when I became an adult I didn't need to worry about shots but I still get them to travel and for Covid and I also get blood tests every year to check if my blood is ok.
@CassidyKoala Most likely Tommy and Hector wouldn't have been brave but, it's just that Dr. Schacter distracted them giving them a lollipop for them to eat before taking out the shot to give to them. Probably if he gave them the shot without a lollipop, they would have cried just like as to what happened to Chucky as Chucky explained it. However, all doctors should be like Dr. Schacter distracting babies with something as they're getting a shot but, I know one doctor was just like Dr. Schacter where he sings and makes funny sounds and does fun things to distract babies with laughter when giving them a shot. Angelica on the other hand may have gotten a lollipop just like Tommy and Hector but, she must have not felt distracted with the lollipop and cried from getting the shot even though she made an excuse that she was crying that her mom wasn't there. Plus, Angelica is someone who can't take shots since Dr. Schacter said from 1:40-1:43 that some kids can take them and some kids can't. Not only that, when Tommy and Hector touched lollipops at 1:46 was like they were saying to each other, "that's what she gets for teasing us."
@@MumaX992 That's right. Angelica acted like getting a shot was something to be scared of and here she's acting like it was true. I can only guess that Angelica was only coming in for a physical with Dr. Schacter assuming and getting her hopes up that she won't be getting a shot but, maybe Dr. Schacter and/or the nurse must have looked at her medical file and saw that she needed a shot and then started crying not being and feeling too prepared for it whether she was given a lollipop (which she got) or not.
@danielle1216 I really don't get WHERE Chuckie gets all his fears from, especially his fear of Santa Claus. "That's not what I heard" Heard form where/Whom?
@@brydc0ck31 On Rugrats wiki, many of the eps have MORALS and KARMA'S relating to Angelica's attitude. This one read... *Moral:* Taunting and gloating are a form of bullying itself, and it may come back to bite you, especially if you yourself fear what you're taunting others over and you're unaware of your own fears. *Karma:* Angelica, after taunting Tommy and Hector for being scared about getting their shots, gets her comeuppance when she gets upset about having to get a shot of her own (after presumably being unaware of it).
The reason why Angelica cried was because she thought she was only going for a check up and not a shot. The fact that the got a shot after thinking she was just going for a check up serves as revenge for what she did to Tommy and Hector.
@SamiUddin13 Most likely Angelica's dad Drew didn't trick her about the shot because maybe he was just taking her for a regular physical and maybe the doctor looked at her file and said that she was due for a shot.
@@BlackCatFilmProductions Yes, I remember the same thing when I was very young when I was getting a shot by the doctor, I was crying and my mom said to me in front of the doctor, "I will take you to McDonalds" but, I don't remember if I was treated to McDonalds or not. As the doctor was giving me a shot and I was crying, the doctor did say, "you see that, your mom will take you to McDonalds."
@carolinedunklau9809 Well, Tommy was looking at Dr. Schacter give him the booster shot (not flu shot) but, he was most likely distracted enjoying the lollipop which is why he didn't cry or react in any way feeling that the lollipop tastes great. The same thing might have been for Hector. Angelica on the other hand might not have been distracted in any way even if Dr. Schacter gave her a lollipop.
@@katelynthewhitewerewolf6376 That's why I said vaccinations they do them easier now hahahaha but I see what you mean. Besides they're just not worth really getting they really don't do all that much!
Not everyone handles needles/shots very well. I’m in my 30’s, yet I’m petrified of needles. Whenever I unfortunately have to get a shot, i.v., etc., I have to hold onto a stuffed animal and/or have my spouse with me. Im just like Angelica when it comes to needles.

Some people can handle needles, some people can’t. I’m just like Angelica when it comes to needles. I am petrified of needles due to two traumatic incidents with two different doctors when I was a young kid. I’m in my 30’s, yet I have to have my husband with me, and cuddle a stuffed animal when I have to get a shot, I.v., blood draw, etc. Everyone has something they are extremely afraid of, mine happens to be needles.

My mom's scared of needles too. She has to have me in the clinic waiting at the entrance of the lab for her to be fine. I'm more like my dad and can handle needles.
@ladyfire44 I used to cry when getting a shot and I think I stopped crying to shots sometime when I was 6 years old where I would say to my mom and dad and my doctor, “I don’t cry anymore when getting a shot” either because I wanted to try getting used to it and/or because I felt embarrassed crying very loudly. Although I was still scared to get a shot but I decided to stop crying to them at age 6.
she didn't, Drew said earlier that Angelica was having her Annual Checkup, and said nothing about her having a booster shot during it. it's implied she only found out until the last second and panicked. @AllyBentin
@@neo-warkid4edwards222 That's true since maybe the doctor or nurse looked at her medical chart to see if she was due for a shot and saw that she was due and got a shot because of that.
Angelica Pickles: I JUST WANT MY MOMMYYYYYYYYYYY!, [Crying] Me & Tommy Pickles & Kimi Finster & Dil Pickles & Phil Devile & Lil Devile & Chuckie Finster: [Laughing] ( 1:25 )
Usually I’m thrilled to see Angelica getting karma for the way she acts, but this time, I actually feel for her. I’m petrified of needles, and I act far worse than she does. It doesn’t help I’m in my 30’s.
@chrissystewart6268 I'm sure Tommy would have been scared and cried if the doctor didn't give him a lollipop to distract him but, Angelica wasn't distracted when getting a lollipop. Plus, maybe Angelica didn't know she was getting a shot but just getting a regular physical and the doctor or nurse must have looked at her chart to see if she was due for a shot which she was. Not only that, it makes me want to say to Angelica something like, "just remember, watch what you say to others since you never know if you are due for a shot after teasing Tommy and Hector."
I’m in my 30’s and I’m still like that. I’m absolutely petrified of needles. I have to have a stuffed animal, and my husband with me. A couple of years ago, I was hospitalized, and unfortunately, I had to have an I.v. inserted into my arm. I was so petrified, my husband and a nurse had to pin me to the table just so the doctor could put the I.v. in. Everyone has something they are extremely afraid of, unfortunately mine happens to be needles.
@jordonhargrove3248 Me too. I used to cry when getting shots between the ages of 3 to 6 and I think when I was 6 years old, I must have felt that I was making a scene when crying and screaming too loud where I would say, "I don't cry anymore when getting a shot" and I would get the shot without crying even though I was still scared to get shots.
@@jordonhargrove3248 I don't know what you mean by "poor baby" because some people stop crying from getting shots but can still be afraid. For example, I remember getting stung by a bee at age 4 which made me cry and then I got stung again at age 13 without crying but just saying "ow ow ow" and I just put ointment, a bandaid, and ice on it.
@afriendofbean I'm so sorry for the pain you went through and I'll always be praying for you and I remember when I was little I used to always be afraid of the loud banging and booming noises that I heard in the gym at quail Valley elementary school 🏫 and lighting and thunder ⛈️
I took shots very well when I was real young. I would just sit and let it happen and wouldn't flinch or anything, then once the needle was out, I would say to the doctor in respect, "Much obliged."
Well……… For your sake, I hope y’all never have to get a steroid injection………… Those hurt like you know what! They make getting a flu shot seem like child’s play.
Angelica* and she is not a crybaby. Some people can handle needles, some people can’t. I definitely can’t, I’m petrified of needles, and I’m in my 30’s.
@arneshiajoseph6956 While Angelica is a bully troublemaker, I don't want to call her a crybaby since Fred Rogers on "Mister Rogers Neighborhood" says that you are never too old to cry and that crying is not just for babies just because it's a babies communication and if someone calls someone else a crybaby, they're being a bully to someone. I stopped crying when getting a shot at age 6 but, I remember when I was 13 years old, I was getting a shot at the doctors and the doctor poked the needle into my arm and then said "oops, I did it wrong I have to do it again" and then poked in the same spot when poking before and I had my eyes closed but my eyes watered up a little bit since it was too much pain in the same spot and I would have started crying a little bit from being poked in the same spot but, the doctor took the needle out at the same time which prevented me from crying. A few minutes after one of my family members felt sorry for me for getting poked two times in the same spot.
@@brydc0ck31 uh…. Do you not understand how fear works? Everyone has something they are afraid/petrified of. Mine happens to be needles. It has nothing to do with being mature. For your information, my fear is due to trauma from when I was a child. Maybe you should stop being a judgmental bully, and a butthurt snowflake.
My sister never gave my niece and nephew any of their shots. It became difficult enrolling them into school, because the school wants all their students to have all their shots. My sister and her stupid husband think when you get shots you get autism or other mental disabilities. Both me and my sister got all our shots and only one of us had autism. My dad said it has nothing to do with the shots, its family genetics. I have a cousin, uncle and aunt who had they own set of mental disabilities but they manage to do fine.
Remember after watching this I tried being braver about shots so I don’t act like Angelica cuz she was the bad one in the show. It helped a bit over time as a kid. Now I still tense up when I need to get a shot cuz I don’t feel comfortable having one
