I get the same feeling as well it feels like all things must come to an end or one door closes in another door type scenario in my life it makes you really appreciate your childhood very much and never takes it for granted and almost makes it feel like you losing a family member or best friend.
The part in the episode where they play clips from different rugrats episodes always gets me MAD emotional for some reason. The nostalgia is overwhelming
I just came across this episode again with the Complete series DVD. 20 years later from when this special broadcasted, I still can’t hold myself back. Rugrats played a big part of my life. To see the clips montage really brings me back to a time of my life when it was so easy to love one another. It’s literally almost as if I grew up with the babies.
They realize they've been through so much as babies and toddlers and now that their teenagers they're about the bark on the next journey together but they'll be a group forever even as they'll grow and that they will rely on each other friends forever through the thick and the thin friends forever and that goes for all the Nickelodeon characters friends United to the very end

I grew up with the Rugrats since I was 5 years old that was in 1991 I'm now 29 years old and I cry looking back at this and listening to this theme song
man talk about bringing back the childhood i think the best part about the song is when angelica and tommy fight because it just shows that no matter how much they grew up together nothing will EVER change between them
1:25 For this episode, This is where they put the montage from all the old Rugrats episodes. This bridge right here hit me straight in the feels when I watched it as a kid and even now makes me miss my childhood
Angelica and Tommy truly shined here. Even if they ruined the performance by fighting over the mic at the end, I always remember that they'll pull through, no matter what.

I remember rugrats episode called all grown up when they dreamed of being teens and went back to babies and I believe they made a series of all grown up where they were in middle school or high school
i dont get how tommy and his friends dont age they seem to age very very very very very very very very very slow im not goin talk about dill or kimi cuz they didnt show up intell the end of the rugrats
You mean those stupid tween shows that have seemed to take over every single channel so there no great animations our on TV anymore? That all that seems to be on either Nick or Disney just crappy Tween shows. Nick used to be a very good cartoon show. Now is all these stupid tween shows. You make like icarly or the other one but I want to see cartoons again not stupid upcoming teen stars. I want cartoons which are a lot harder to pull off. Since all you got is your voice. Not just some cute face!
