Thanks to you I did buy this handbrake when it was 69e (i bought with elastomer+spring option) And i am really happy with it. Had no problems with bending, and still no need for mod, leaver goes all the way, probably elastomer option is too stiff for frame. Looking at price, the same handbrake i bought 133e at the moment. Biggest minus for me i really not a fan of chinese handles, why they make them so small.

Exact same comment than Maltinis a bit earlier, bought mine at 69 € with the additional spring kit and no need to add the screw, the bottom of the loadcell doesn't move at all when pulling, probably worth to buy the optional spring kit if you're attaching it to a proper rig, plus it gives you different stiffness settings. And I think the mod is indeed the reason why the holder broke on the picture, you totally change the force distribution by putting the screw at this place. The only downside for me is the handle which is too short, changed it with a 130 mm gear knob and feels way better. Otherwise great value for that price at the time, and yet it was only a month and a half ago, but now they've gone way too high on the price...

Mine has been performing wonderfully (purchased the Simubox Variant). However yesterday the elastomer actually split in use, so I ordered a HE brake elastomer set, and at that point I think this is one of the best handbrakes on the market as the feel will only improve with the new elastomers, on the plus side I can also make it a little softer to simulate a more natural feeling brake rather than having all force applied almost instantly.

At £50 I would snap this up but at £90, I'd spend an extra fiver and grab a Moza handbrake. Nice thing about the Moza one at this price point is the adjustibility it has. If this RUiTO one goes back down in price though, definitely worth consideration.

As I read in the AliExpress reviews, the manufacturer has reacted to the issues with the load cell mounting plate and uses a stronger material in the current revision. Too bad they did not response to my request for replacement parts. Anyway, I sold the handbrake and got myself a Sim-Lab XB1 instead. 🙂

@@SimRacingCorner it does indeed. It took me a bit of effort to invest almost 200€ in "just" a handbrake, but I have to say it's absolutely worth it. Really high quality, no play whatsoever, and really fancy looking ideed. And the best part is: Due to its two-stage design it gives me a very distinct indication where the pressure point is, and so I find myself applying way more force than on other handbrakes, even in heated Rally Cross duels with a friend of mine. I am even using the softest elastomer. 🙂

As this handbrake has the same rj connector that fanatec uses on its wheelbase for its handbrake. Would it work if it was plugged directly into a fanatec dd base ?

That side to side flex is a bit much IMO. If there was a way to reinforce it...

It's not flexing is it, it's the tolerance between the components. The side to side play is not apparent when pulling the lever. It looks worse than the reality of using it. But sure, it kind of looks off-putting, I understand that.

Could you please recommend a shifter handbrake combo? I have two setups with fanatec csw 2.5 and csl dd wheels. One at a desk and one on an old obutto ozone rig. Flexible on price and brand but leaning towards value. Would like 3 devices H, sequential and handbrake for use on pc. I have a th8 shifter but that's it.

For the shifter, the SHH www.shiftershh.com/en/ will probably be your best option. It's also both H-pattern and sequential combined. For a handbrake, a light tension will be required. @SimRacingCorner I ended up buying sim jack sequential, h patern and handbrake. Couldn't be happier. They could easily charge double, and people would buy it. Hard mounted to a rig these would be fine. Now looking for another three piece combo that would suit a desk. I'm thinking thrustmaster th8(have already) for H, fanatec(don't have) for sequential and arc handbrake with magnetic sensor(Have already). I chose simjack for my rig thanks to your reviews.

Not sure whether it's an immediate response to reviews or to a risen demand due to the mention in reviews. However, I think even Donald Trump's mental state is more stable than AliExpress prices, which tend to take wild roller coaster rides for no obvious reasons - not only for sim stuff. A set of 5 3D printing filament coils I had an eye on went up and down around 15€ within hours. So the best strategy is to keep an eye on the listings you are interested in and purchase them as soon as the prices go down.

I got one. It's just a misunderstanding, not a handbrake. It's just fucked up. I'm trying to get it back.
