@59:29 "Most of these problems would be solved by a simple bridge that goes over or under the rail line." The motorways could bypass the rail lines, as well as go over the water sections like the bridge, and save you a lot of road tiles.
I'd love to see this company do these type of games but in an Airport and Seaports, 2 separate games The way they can be is setting up transportation for ppl and cargo and u have to set up the air or sea routes and try not to have crashes and stuff as well cuz u can't have planes crossing air paths at the same time, lol
first game you had both the red and blue lines bridging to the left landmass from the left island, therefore you had a bridge that could be relocated to connect to the right landmass.
Yeah double problem is you can't treat a Mini Motorways city like an actual city. In MM you want to keep the colors completely separate as much as absolutely possible. Giving everyone the ability to go everywhere is a fast way to end in jams.
I'm still watching and not sure if you figure it out by the end, but you can adjust the houses rotation on the map. Instead of placing the road next to the driveway start moving from the house itself.
40:24 "Do I want a motorway?" As I understand it, the answer is always yes, you do. For instance, later on you took a bridge instead... but you can always use a motorway as a bridge, or even two, if absolutely necessary.
It's so easy to overlook solutions on these maps, the first one had 2 tunnels to one landmass while requiring only one, cutting the center line shorter. Likewise with missing what equipment you have available because of the auto hiding menu, but thst you can lock into place. The sounds and music doesn't sit well with me, usually play with my headset plugged in, but not on me and rely solely upon visual clues. I really don't like the auto localization, they never get the language correctly in any game and it just increases the distance to get help with issues. The tutorial keeps messing up and requires me to place a train on a line that doesn't need it, doesn't recognize that the train was placed on a line and keep bugging me to place a non existing train. The Mini Motorways game seems simpler to get going and figure out than Mini Metro. Diagonals are cheaper in road tiles for a \ compared to a L shaped road. I see a lot of upgrades since last time I played any of these games, they have improved in general.
Someone who's never been to or heard Lisbon pronounced before, that's who. How do you pronounce Worchester? Or La Jolla? Or Willamette? Because I guarantee most people don't know and will flub it on their first try.
