We are don't say now who are actually royal one... Because under the dimapur capital all area population are called once a period dimasa.. Like tripasa kingdom... But hadgson 1847 create another identity of kachari people called bodo /boro..now today conflict main reason is new identity.

Nice video bro. And I can understand that why you said what you said at the end. But the thing is why The Kachari Kingdom is also known as The Dimasa Kingdom is because The Royal Family, The Ministers, The Generals all belonged to the Dimasa community. And the general population constituted of Bodo, Dimasa and other Kachari tribes as well as Bengali, Kuki, Karbi, Naga etc. They used to pay taxes to the Royal family directly. Even when the Kachari King formally adopted hinduism in Kashpur and was given the Khastriya status, it was the Dimasas who went through this conversion along with the Royal Family which also were Dimasas and were allowed to put the sacred thread Janeo and formed the caste BARMAN. And btw Barmans of Cachar is completely different than Barman Kacharis, there's no link between them. The Barmans of Cachar are Dimasa only.

I know that some might argue that in the past we were all known as Kacharis which is true but it's very hard to say when exactly was that time when Kacharis had a single identity. And as per the origin of Sonowal and Thengal Kachari, they draw their origin from the Kachari generals, soldiers and their families who got captured by the Ahoms after the destruction of Dimapur.

@@KTvids502 there are more than ten villages around the Dimapur district most of them are in outskirt of town like dhansiriphar which is also a sub-duvision of Dimapur , Doyapur, hazadisa, Ganeshnagar, Disaguphu are some of them.... There are also village around the town just below the Zion hospital i.e Darogajan village the oldest village in Dimapur district and Bamuphukiri is also in the vicinity of Dimapur town .. Padumphukiri ,naharbari, darogapathar, Purana bazar are also Boro and mech kachari places but due to less population and politicalically weak the kacharis are being neglected in Nagaland....
