I loved how they were polar opposites of one another and yet inseperable. Ruka's deck was one of nature and spirits and skirting around the enemies defenses to attack. Rua's deck was of machines and transforming appliances and charging straight through. I loved it.
And because of that their duel against Demak in the Dark Signers arc was honestly one of the best duels in the whole arc and one of my top three duels in the arc.
+Reed Mohlman Well, by the time they get boring, the music already changes in the anime, very few songs actually go on for an extended period of time. It's kinda like club and dance music, they drag on the last bead for a while, so that it's easier to mix in with other music. 5D's revolves around the interchanging of powerful action and words and for that, you don't need extended music (like you would for long action scenes), so I'm assuming they made the music for those scenarios.
***** Actually, it eems to me that Arc-V is only conceptually alike 5D's in this matter. If anything, Arc-V's duels are way more (sometimes unneccessarily) dragged out than 5D's ones, meaning that the music has to play longer as well. At least that's the way I see it. But yeah, the music is pretty great.
@@xtreme1002003 Each of theirs name is 'Rua(Lua)',and 'Ruka'. I guess it just means they're twins. In korea, some or many twins have same letters in their name. The name, 'Rua(Lua)',and 'Ruka' is orinal Japanese name, too. It write '龍亞'、'龍可'in Japanese. Following the rule, we must read it (ryu:a)and(ryu:ka). In the original Japanese animation, however, all characters call them'Rua(Lua)'and 'Ruka'.
Gosh. More than their Decks, even these twins' themes are polar opposites. While Rua has this amazingly heroic theme which entirely fits his growth as a character and his wish to be his sister's hero - and just a hero in general -Ruka has this... mystical, really mysterious theme going on with the whole spiritual idea of her deck. Both of these themes are just so amazing, and they're really different from what Jack or Yusei have to offer. Lovin' them and how intense they are :D
@@Ferelcapox7 It's also literally not in her personality and/or character (save for when she saved her bro from actual death against Demak), which the OP mentioned pretty well! Same for Leo. The comment didn't look like it was about smart, it just pointed out the enjoyable difference between the twins' themes. Which granted is pretty bangin'.
@@SorinUwU because searching a field card and special summoning a monster from your hand in turn 1 is broken for 1 card to do, especially for dragon links decks.
IBringInTheBeats It was indeed Carly’s VA. That’s why a main antagonist in Season 1 got reduced to an extra in the later seasons, with her love plot line with Jack just disappearing into thin air with no explanation (in the anime) as to why.
@@AvalancheZ250 by main antagonist you mean who, the clown who worked for Godwin? As for Carly's being in a cult being the reason why Carlo herself thrown aside with no future...sad
my first thought was that it's a little spooky/intense for a card game with a little girl; but then again I guess if playing card games wasn't intense we'd all realize how stupid we look and trade in our plastic duel disks for a copy of Halo: Reach.
_VanDal_ Lua and Luca we’re both cute and full of energy. It honestly made me happy seeing two innocent yet so powerful duelists achieve their dreams and duel alongside legends like the other Signers. It’s just too bad Luna decided to drop duelling, but let’s hope we get to hear about Leo’s adult dueling career at some point. Maybe we’ll see his monsters in a temple dedicated to legendary duelists in a future anime, like various OG and GX characters were in Zexal (no 5Ds ones though for some reason).
