Hi Marcus I’m a new drone pilot from the United Kingdom and my first drone I bought was the mini 2. Haven’t took it out for a proper flight yet as the nerves are still getting the best of me. I own this F11 Ruko drone and it DOESN'T shake or wobble... Likewise, I'm amazed with your difficulties with the set-up and connect, you should've read the directions more methodically, as set-up and calibration is a breeze! 'Idaho Quadcopter' has done a great dis-service to this drone's capabilities!! You'll notice so many other reviews applaud the stellar features and performance the F11 offers at this price-point! My testimonial is entirely unsolicited, Check out other reviews on this drone and you'll see that 'Idaho Quadcopter' was wingin' it with his review!
I'm glad yours works as you expected. I simply show my experience, nothing more nothing less. I flown a lot of these F11 drones, most worked better than this one.
I agree with 100% the vibration he experienced was because the blades were out of balance I suspect he may have did a test run that he didn’t show and crashed it or RUKO sent him a drone that was returned and that person crashed it.
I have to give you credit....You have patience my friend....after the third try I would have thrown the controller as far as I could...( after removing my phone ) and kicked the drone 😂😂 Thanks for the video. Awesome as usual...😎
I’ve seen other reviews of this drone and it will follow you in target- green box and record, also the orbital mode you have to mark the center of the orbit. You’ll have to find those in the manual as mine hasn’t arrived yet. Also you can have it display in feet rather than meters, not sure where that is either but it will.
Nice review Marcus. As I mentioned in my response to your comment I’m almost thinking the temperature might be the cause of the jello. I had a bit myself last week during a flight where it was considerably colder than my recent flight. Just a thought
Man, as i watched this, i felt your frustration! I have gone through the very same thing with my new F11 numerous times! Soooo frustrating. I hope Ruko customer service is watching this because there is a serious lack of “how-to” in their instructions! Love the hardware but getting it to function is a Royal PITA!
Well there was whole lot shakie' going on in that video.This one had some issues, no doubt that. And it's hard to recommend at that price point. Great review Marcus, thanks for hanging in there with this bird started acting up on you.
Oh no, the F11 STRIKES AGAIN! Used to love this one (my first drone (after I returned a Holy Stone. But lately, I like the Fimi X8SE for basic drones, especially with the TX10 Smart Controller. It can't shoot video like tge Autel Lite+ but it's not bad with the Sony IMX383 sensor and the TX10 Controller is awesome for $300
Nice presentation and I got the no-name drone looks the same but the instructions were in the box! Too complex to even start just to mess in my backyard and take videos the instructions stink so I am 72 years 72-year-old veteran of manual RC choppers without these modern complex systems to fly!
Can you manually look around with the camera while it is in waypoint flight? I don't see any automated options, but was thinking some star-like-points on the path could effectively aim the drone at different angles, if neither manual nor auto control is possible.

Make your first flights in an open area with no obstructions. Do all of the calibrations, and make sure the drone records its home point. Happy flying!
I have a Ruko F11 Gim, it is a good budjet drone for a beginner. I out grew it really fast once I got my Mini 2 But the F11 is still a solid Drone. Much better than my first drone the Holy Stone 720. Holy Stone just plain sucks. LOL The Only thing I do not like about the F11 GIM is there is lag between controller and the drone. That can cause a issue. Just wondering why you keep the settings in Metric? I only deal in fett, miles etc. My biggest issue is these budget drones only wet your whistle, You quickly want a better drone. I first bought drone to follow my boat, and take video of my camping trips. Once I got my first DJI I found out how good a drone can be. You get what you pay for. JMHO.
I think you are spot on, it's much better to start with a drone like the Mini 2. I use metric for a few reasons, most drone specs are in metric, and I just plain like the system.

@@IdahoQuadcopter At least you get warm weather , it's freezing here in England ,we get frost and rainfall, Britain is known for its rainfall, very green country no desert anywhere, many of our towns are like ghost towns, energy bills at an all time high, are crippling, people, boarded up shops, Vladimir Putin's trying to financially cripple Europe, (he's a right one he is) and since we left the European Union it's hitting us hard , (but I still don't want to go back in it) old people dying in there homes because they can't afford to turn on the heating , and now we here of the massive earthquake in Turkey ,and Syria , terrible. It's pretty gloomy at the moment .☹️
The drone is a SJRC F11 s which costs $200 , sometimes less, I paid $220 with 3 batteries including tax and shipping. RUKO have their badge and box put on the product and a 100% and more mark up. Amazon even more. I have 2 versions, both the same apart from one has a 3km range the other a shorter range, the shorter range cost $120 which is why I bought it. Both work perfect, they have no camera shake or tilted gimbal like the example Marcus is flying.
$459? Out of their minds!!!!. Right now I can get an Evo nano plus standard bundle on ebay for $489 and the three battery premium bundle for $565. What's a DJI mini SE go for? $299 or $320? Sorry, this shaky Jake is only worth half of what they ask for it.
I'm surprised you haven't figured out that "gim2" means "2 axis gimble". You really need to know how the drone works before doing a review. It's very frustrating watching you STUMBLE through the video. Thanks
The company should be embarassed by that drone. I have no idea how 70% of the evaluations are a "5" based on what I saw in the video. No way would I buy that drone.
As a matter of fact I do. I have the newer controller that connects to the phone with a cable. No wifi. My guess is the wifi was giving them problems with delay response like you were getting.
