Thank you for doing this video to help us beginners learn how to set up and fly this drone. I got it for my husband for Christmas but he’s not into flying drones instead he requested for an RC car where he can jumps and speed in dirt roads 😒🙄 Long story short, I decided to take over the remote. Just registered and got the TRUST certificate for it. Your video helped out a lot. I have a little more confident with flying it now. I was always worried that it will somehow malfunction mid-air and take a hard landing. Thanks for showing us all the possibilities that this drone can do! Great video.
Overall, I'm really impressed with this drone. Almost a 1/2 hr flight time. Pretty close to the Mavic Air 2 flight time (34 min). Excellent review & flight Pete!! :) 😊👍
Against my better judgment, I was on the John and just got the f11. Warning to new users, wait it out and go outside or you will be like me and jump off the pot to chase this lil bugger down.
I have the F11 pro and the F11 GIM. The GIM is going back to amazon next week. My F11 pro goes as far as I want it to and the GIM was supposed to go much farther. It only went 200 meters and lost video and returned to home. 2 different weekends out in the open country. No it was not in beginner mode. The F11 pro is staying because it is fun to fly and take pictures but not so good for video without a gimble. Ruko does have really good customer service and I am very happy with the company. If you get the card for a free battery, use it. They sent me one in a week.
I been watching you fly there for years. You could never lose a bird out there I wish I had that much open space to learn in. Fly away is my greatest concern. Old and poor and can't, afford it. I see there's some sort of community in the distance so that must be your source for internet. I'm waaay off grid up in the mountains in sage brush range and distant trees. Super easy to lose anything in. Even a dog! Haha Dandahermit
Just picked up one of these for $200 even on a black Friday sale. Will be the first drone I have ever touched. No reall clue what I will use it for, besides inspecting my solar panels on my roof (2 story house). Easily worth $200 vs potentially dying trying to inspect the panels by climbing up there
I’ve had mine for two years now…and believe it or not,it’s a go to fun machine…more technical flying I’ll use my autel evo 👍🏽.. it’s a great drone/ quad..no complaints!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
A little weird that you can see the propellers in the video view. I just unboxed and this is a helpful video. I need to learn the remote functions so they become 2nd nature since I'm not that coordinated.
I haven’t had any luck with it, got it 2 years ago flew maybe 3 times at the most, so it’s just been in storage. I think I just didn’t get the settings in the app right. I’m giving it a second chance. Currently replacing the battery in the controller. Thanks for the great video!

@@loganwalters1646 when you first get it it is set for a sort of beginner mode, you need to disable that, then you can fly it the full distance. 21:17 - he talks about it here 21:47 - and he shows how to turn off the beginner more in the app here. under settings there is the Beginner Mode option that is switched on, just tap the switch and it will turn it off, then use the sliders to increase the flight distance and flight altitude. do like he did and leave the return altitude around 20m, unless you are going to be flying somewhere with really talltrees, power lines, or buildings. press save. now you should be able to fly it the full distance and height

Useful video I bought the jettime X7 which is in all but name the exact drone as this ,but there's little or no real info or video info or parts available for it . There's no way to contact Jettime in any way , luckily this Ruko is the same drone so so batteries are available,
Just started researching drones in this price point and this looks very nice! Excellent video and thank you for the thorough review. I can’t find that app used on the iPad. Where is it downloaded from? GREAT VIDEO! Very well done and covers a lot quickly but informative. This is basically an instruction video along with a review.
Seems solid.. past all your test.. so far. Little early for Shure.. don't like the geo fencing thing? How far do they say can fly?? Or can you test! 😁😁😁 After further thought but spendy.. FPV start up ..only 200 more.. goggles.. Bird.. remote.. bats and charger....
I've ALLWAYS noticed that you set up using your tail gate for shade to view your cell. Can't see any of them in the daylight. I want a good. Will I be able to set beginner mode without the app?? I REALLY need it. I'm 80 yrs old and super scared of fly away. Dandahermit
Why are the controls different when you turn on GPS mode? I can fly with confidence but once the GPS mode is on I have no idea what my controller inputs are doing to the drone! It’s confusing
Thanks for the video. I’m having trouble pairing the controller. - Drone power on. - Control on - Up/Down The lights remain rapid blinking purple and it does beep with these steps.
hello- nice video - looking for suggestion cheapest drone that can take picture from 10ft away that way shadow of drone does not appear in pic -for roof damage with a good battery .. I do have RC Airplane experience - anybody can answer . .

Only cold in the winter. Still hot in the summer. You get all 4 seasons out here, lakes, and rivers everywhere, and you can trust people.. I don't even lock my cars out here.
Is there a difference between the ROKU and the SJRC F11 Pro 4K ? I can't even figure out what app to use. In the play store search, all these different app come up.
Hey man amazing video very helpful. I just got this drone today everything works just like in your video but one major problem I’m hoping you can help me with I cannot get the app to connect to the drone. I’m pretty knowledgeable with this stuff I’ve tried it plenty of times. I connect the phone to the drone Wi-Fi and go through all the prompts to setup the gps etc. and cannot link the phone to drone through the app. Any idea what I’m doing wrong ???
Why are you using the sjrc gps pro Wi-Fi and also the f11 pro Wi-Fi?? I don't understand. I downloaded the f11 pro app, is that enough?? Also on my first flight why did the wind take the drone away?? And lastly when I pair the transmitter to the drone and pushed the left stick up and down the lights don't change. I actually have to turn on the Wi-Fi on my phone and then go into the app and calibrate the drone before the lights start changing. Is my drone defective?? I do hope you can get back to me thanks oh and also when I take off on the one button take off it's still drifting, it's not really holding the position solid even when there was little to know when. What am I doing wrong?? Please for the level God help me.
i just got it for X mas, All Jokes Aside when it hovers or fly's it keeps going slowly backwards to the left, I've replaced the blade and it still don't work
Did you have any troubles connecting video with cellular on? As soon as I go through the app, it does not want to connect video unless I turn off cellular.
I haven't flown mine yet and haven't learned to fly these yet. No or sketchy cell here up in da mountains where I live. So can I view camera and take pictures without the app?? Also How do I set it up for trainer mode?? Thanks Dandahermit.
Ok, a question. What exactly is the difference between the F11 PRO and the (regular) F11 ? Is it just a matter of the extra (2nd) battery being included ? Or is there any actual difference in the drones themselves ? And the PRO is supposed to run via the “PRO” app, i that app different from the app for the F11 ??
I took mine out for a first flight today and already broke it. Lol. It kinda went off on its own over the roof of my house. I tried to lad it. It hit the roof and fell on the ground and the camera assembly came apart. Oh well.
