Hmm, how difficult was this (according to the picker who made this video)? This is apparently the "best" purely mechanical lock offered by the ASSA conglomerate worldwide, if it's too easy, we need them to create something better.
It’s a very difficult lock to pick. The row of sliders is very crowded making it a pain to grab them individually and they’re very easy to overset. Also the tolerances on the barrel spools are noticeably better than those on the ASSA Twin series. To my knowledge only 4 people in total have picked this lock.
If it takes u more tha 30-60 seconds to pick a lock in a frontdoor, then forget it, the police, nabours or security guards have taken ur ass to jail long before you have ever picked it, so i am prerty satisfied with My Ruko Garant Plus, nobody is gonna pick that before i get home from work or hes been seen by others.. Also in DK insurance is cheaper if you install safety in ur house, such as a hidden wall safe, this lock, GPS device on big an expensive interiour, Electronic marked with invisible ink, and Doors and Windows are at a safety level High oh yeah and cctv...
@@palledrengens Yeah, Garant Plus is the residential marketing of D-12 Twin cores, the business marketing has a different name. And there are lots of places where a thief can quietly spend minutes picking a lock without being seen, such as the bottom of a basement staircase or inside a bicycle shed.
@@johndododoe1411 if those places are unattended (cctv, inside locking bars etc) its your own damn fault if you get robbed😎 I work with this, i made a house completely safe from breaking in, No Doors or Windows has Any space available between frames, shielded by 4mm by 40mm of flat Iron, so there is No acces for crowbars or drills aso.. Only key lock on the inside of doors and the shell and perimeter is protected by led spots ligthing every corner up plus an closed Iron gate 2 meters High with Electric wires on top and a seacontainer lock mecanism on the gate making it impossible to pick the loxk inde the box due to the extension of the key to the padlock... Severel former thieves has been given acces to do what they would do, the price was a 1000$ No one has collected yet😉👌🏻
@@palledrengens Yeah, but not all places here in CPH+ have that level of non-lock safety, hence the quest for better locks where those have to be the main defense.
