Join me as we learn how to survive the zombie apocalypse in Zombieland (2009)!! Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Abigail Breslin and Bill Murray star in this comedic adventure that has a heart warming story develop throughout. I love anything zombie related, so this was right up my alley 😁

"The Man Who Would Be King" is a 1975 adventure film directed by John Huston, starring Sean Connery and Michael Caine. The movie is based on the 1888 novella of the same name by Rudyard Kipling. This movie is not well known for reasons that I don't understand. It is a hidden gem of an adventure tale and well worth a review.

I'm pretty sure that's the movie on which they met and became friends. Murray's Zombieland cameo was originally supposed to be Patrick Swayze, but he tragically passed before filming. Needing a replacement, Harrelson called Murray himself and asked him to take Swayze's place.

"you got a purtty mouth" An obvious reference to _Deliverance,_ but not to these reactors! I'm waiting for that classic film to make it into the reactor carousel. Surprised it is taking so long.

Great reaction like always, Love this movie. And a fun-fact, this script was originally written as a TV pilot for a series but the network didnt bought it, so it was turned into a movie script. Had it been a series we would've found out more of Columbus' rules as it went along and had a different Zombie Kill of the Week for each new episode. It also explains why Little Rock and Wichita, who had been shown to be very smart throughout the movie would all of sudden turn stupid and not realize that turning on the amusement park would attract every zombie in the area. They didn't have a "movie ending" in the original TV script. So this was put together just to rush the movie out.

Thank you!! I think it would have been great as a tv series. Thanks for the info about the rushed ending, it makes a lot more sense now lol

I HIGHLY recommend Bound ( hardly anyone reacts to it). It was the Warshawskis first film, which led to them making The Matrix, it was basically 'proof' they could make films. Long before they came out as trans too. It's VERY subversive and witty and the cinematography/ colours schemes are amazing, especially on the relatively low budget they had ( 6 million USD , as opposed to the average 50 plus million then)
