I love how almost everything other than the planes has a very dulled color palette, because it kind of helps gravitate the abnormality of the situation they are in, but it also contrasts with where airy lives to show that this is sort of his way to entertain himself

I think if Liam did kill Airy it would have been satisfying at first but really boring and an undeserved ending. What we got is perfect storytelling about (ironically) human nature.
