@@escapedfromnewyork Well, honestly I don’t know what to say to that idea except it isn’t right. We are most definitely not settlers out on a homestead fending for ourselves. Even they had some community at some basis. We need roads, unless you would like to see toll roads absolutely everywhere that you would have to pay whatever price those that put the roads in decided on. Trying to keep your own money eh? Ok, so if someone decides to steal your money, a robber or a bank, isn’t it nice to have law enforcement (as unfair in practice, where the rich seem to get away with much more than the rest, it would be instead the rich with private security the rest of us nothing…) . The person fighting taxes didn’t “make” their own way without help. Schools educate citizens, so we aren’t completely useless, and can work for them to create their profit, roads for their employees and goods, and much more are part of the equation. It seems ridiculous to me to say taxes are wrong somehow. What is wrong is WASTING of our taxes. Other countries, with somewhat (but not as much a difference as the myth) higher taxes GET at least health care for their taxes. The problem with many “no taxes” “government is the problem” politicians, they USE the money dishonestly and not for the things taxes really are for,
@382u3uuej
@382u3uuej Год назад
Cheating on taxes is a good thing to do though, why use it as an example of bad behavior? "oh man, I'm such a bad person because I didn't pay my taxes that will be used for corruption, state owned companies that lose billions a year, welfare for lazy people that don't want to work, healthcare for unhealthy obese people, I hate being this evil :(" lmao. edit: Lol I just read your comment, let me address your points: -Roads can be private and used in the same way as tolls but with an app on your phone for example that tracks your usage, not to mention that not allowing private roads doesn't let people create more roads where they need to since only government can own them, and the government creates unnecessary roads since they don't have to pay for the consequences of it, the government having the monopoly of roads is merely an ideological tool used to convince people that without government roads will not exist. -Law enforcement is not an invention of the government, it's just that they have the monopoly over it and won't allow us to have private police so they can ensure themselves the monopoly of violence (and also to influence people like you ideologically with the idea that without government police wouldn't exist) - State owned schools are extremely expensive on top of being terrible, students graduate from school knowing barely anything, if you study the history of education (I recommend Murray Rothbard book: education free and mandatory) you will see that public schools are meant to indoctrinate you in the ideas the government wants, why else do you think in most of the world you can't use that tax money for a private institution? and why else do you think that the only way for a private school diploma to have validity is to teach what the government wants? It's not about education, it's about indoctrination, and people like you fall for it. -State owned healthcare is not a good thing, you are forcing everyone to pay for healthcare that they might not need rather than paying for the healthcare plan that they want, on top of that you reduce the incentives to be healthy because people who exercise, eat healthy and generally take care of their bodies need to pay the same amount that fat lazy people that drink alcohol, smoke and eat absolute garbage. Man jesus, I recommend you read some economics books, you also use the argument at the end that "taxes are not the problem is their misuse" and let met tell you that this is not a bug but a feature of the system, you have 4 ways of spending money; 1-Spending you own money on yourself which is the most efficient way of spending since you know exactly what you want. 2-Spending other people's money on yourself which will make you overspend but will get you want you want since you know what you want. 3-Spending your money on other people which will make you spend as little as possible and won't get the other person what they want since you don't care about that, you just care about spending as little as possible. 4-And finally the government way of spending, spending other's people money on other's people, which means not caring about how much you spend since it's not your own money and not caring if the other person gets what they want since they are not you and you can't know exactly what they want. By this logic, the government can never be efficient with spending and give you what you want, it's a feature of the system for them to waste money on things we don't want. There are way more arguments to use against the things that you said but I don't want to make it too long, I recommend you to read basic economics by thomas sowell and other economics books for you to change your mind.

Popular media dramatization often gives these people some kinda tragic grandeur and romanticizing the bond between them. It is a cutthroat world where rules get constantly broken. They feigned friendship to lure trusting victims to their deaths. Senior members womanizing their underlying wives or girlfriends. Rules get broken on day 1. It is a world of ruthless exploitation and betrayals with consequences usually lethal whether long incarceration or violent deaths.

The life leads you to only 4 paths; you end up dead, or in and out of prison most of your life, end up in a witness protection program, or life in prison. That's about 99.9% of the time. Very VERY few end up staying alive all of their life and dying at home or in a hospital. Less than 1% if that.
