Paint bike lanes green 💚 it's easier to see and practical. I live in Santa Monica and it's a lot easier to know where to mount the sidewalk and when to merge with traffic

Well, since you asked about a set of rules for PEVs: > under 60kg > 70kph on the streets (same as car traffic irl), 40 on bike lanes (50 in low traffic areas) , down to 30 in crowded areas and sidewalks. > mandatory helmet - I don't think it helmets are necessary for slower PEVs, but I also don't think slower EVs in traffic should be a thing. > any driver's license, maybe a cheaper new category. Not necessary on bike lanes. > certified battery. > national database. I know it is a hassle, but it is a good way to deal with bike theft. I don't think these devices should go much slower because a hitting a pedestrian with a PEV is more of a hassle than a real danger. The goal should be pushing cars away from pedestrians and bike lanes. Also... PEVs should get bigger incentives than Teslas, especially for first time owners. The city is saving a non-trivial amount of money with cars and buses (or 1.600kg electric cars) being replaced by those.

Seriously you are good enough to be independent and an ambassador to ladies riders (personal opinion) . Looking forward to more content .... why are you using those safety gear from other brand ?

In the UK the situation is a complete mess. PEV's according to the law are illegally anywhere except your own land and though thousands are being sold and ridden Police either ignore you, fine you, steal your ride, put points on your car licence though it has nothing to do with that, And depending on where you live, or how they are feeling at the moment do any, or none of the above. As sales of scooters in particular increase, the threat to riders is increasing, as it is for the hobby, and for our rights and freedoms generally.

For further consideration: 1) In very congested cities an elevated tube system for one way EUC riders and other light-weight traffic. It need only be strong enough to carry humans. 2: Google maps needs an upgrade to cater to the neds of EUC riders.

Great video. I live in the UK and I'm going to buy my first EUC in June after my holiday.. I wish our government would legalise private escooters and EUC's aswell as all other PEV's.

I have some basic questions, how much incline are they able to do, can you ride up a very steep very long mountain road in summer heat? How much fitness level is required, and what is the maximum weight for the rider? In respect of some offroad riding

Hi from Barcelona, very nice video! Thank you because I was quite confused about the regulations here! Just to note: Barcelona, the "c" is pronounced just like in English, you don't need to try to say it like in spanish, we speak Catalan here!

Rules: You cant bla bla bla anywhere REALITY: They can not ask you for authorization, and law will apply on vehicles of 2-3 wheels or more. You have an autobalanced vehicle so is ok to go. (just in case you need to read more to TRUST ME. Read then the "European Reglament of vehicles 168/2013". article 2.1 and article 2.2") You are free in portugal, spain, france, germany, netherlands, austria, shouldd i continue??? or we all know the european countries
