I love the way this series of moves flow together, I use them all the time when I dance Rumba. The Followers also seem to enjoy the movements with the Spiral turns.👍

"Rope Spin" or "Rope Spinning" is when the man, after doing the finishing Alemana turn on the lady, allows the lady to do a very quick, delayed, and extra Spiral Turn ("by surprise") to the R on "4-1", and then allows the lady to do 6 circular forward Rumba walks around him from behind, clockwise, from his R side to his L side, and back home again in Closed Facing. As the lady "rope spins" around the man, the man usually does time steps in place, though he can cucaracha instead. A good exit out of that is a Opening Out to R to Spiral into L Fan, or you can do the Opening Out to R and then Opening Out to L and Opening Out to Right Again.

Mantra for the Curl - RF for man forward first for prep, then do Forward Check - pull lady in and "spiral her", and finally, lead her out to L fan as usual.

Kudos for the video content! Sorry for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you tried - Miyyan Wenacob Bulldozer (do a search on google)? It is a smashing one of a kind product for learning the rumba and other popular ballroom dances minus the normal expense. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my work buddy at last got excellent success with it.
