American music is loved throughout the world. Our next story reviews a new documentary feature that traces the origins of rock, jazz, and the blues. The film shows how Native American Indian music was blended with African music throughout American history. It is the missing chapter of how American music evolved. VOA’s Carolyn Turner has the story.

Umm . The "African American" diaspora predates the "Native Americans" arrivals. Just an update. Aboriginal American people. Always were here.

@@elishamarie673 simple Wikipedia search tells you this....Africans arrived in the North and South east first. Inuits came from the North west and Polynesians came from the South East. The stereotypical "indian" was the only remaining culture that emerged from the disasters of eugenics and gynecide. The ancestors of inuits were considered civilized and 5 of their tribes became considered the 5 civlilized tribes being the only 5 to sign a peace treaty and adopting the colonial culture. Hence why Cherokee adopted slavery. This is far from pseudoscience and im not saying that some native American tribe didn't have it hard but the facts don't lie...inuits/mongoloids were not the first on this continent.
