there’s a unique quality to old-school type asmr videos. i like it and i kind of miss it sometimes. but the videos are still here haha so i’m thankful.
Still here years later! This is literally one of my favorites and there hasn’t been another asmrtist that can do a slow, soft, makeup haul like Amal. Period. She doesn’t make this ONLY a makeup video like every other person, she still rummages carefully like she’s searching for a dropped earring in a shag carpet, she taps on items, it’s not rushed. Amal, if you read this, I hope you know how much this video does for me, and has done for me. Loved you then, love you now, woman!

Speaking as a guy who generally doesn't think much about makeup, I have to say that I love this video! So many ridiculously good ASMR triggers here. Also, the description is fantastic ;)
I really like what you did with your voice in this video. The wispy, soft-spoken style is really effective when you're not really close to the mic. I hope you use this technique for future relaxation videos when you're at a distance, and a nice soft whisper as you get closer. Keep up the good work.
