Use the Amazon Linux 2 virtual machine (VM) images for on-premises development and testing. We offer a different Amazon Linux 2 VM image for each of the supported virtualization platforms.
Step 1: Prepare the seed.iso boot image
In Windows use Windows Terminal and Install Ubuntu Subsystem
after login
cd /mnt/locationOr diectory where the userdata and metadata are kept
Step 2: Download the Amazon Linux 2 VM image
Step 3: Boot and connect to your new VM
Don't forget to add the seed.iso before booting /power on vm
