BUT the boys actually made the decision to enlist on their own, just wanted to clarify. the government was gonna excuse them but was being too wishy washy with it so the boys decided to take matters into their own hands😊 they aren’t being forced it’s a decision they made on their own 💜

Actually their government was teasing them with a possible pass (that they didn't ask for. They have always said they would serve when the time came) and the government wanted to keep using them for all sorts of things. So Jin announced that he will enlist at the end of this month (before he is required to do so) and each member will follow according to their schedule and be back by 2025 as a group. Their government didn't know they were doing that and they are scrambling now because BTS brings in 3.5 of the nation's GDP (gross domestic product aka that cash money)

Jimin actually did ballet and contemporary dance and add in his extensive background in Martial Arts training this comes easy to him. Hes the most flexible member of the group which is why this wasnt difficult for him. He also does all the stunts

Jungkook is the youngest (1997) and the one with a tattoo sleeve. He often has a brow and lip piercing as well. He was the one in the back in black. V is the second youngest (1995) and he was the one in the back in white talking with Jimin✌🏾Don’t worry, y’all will recognize them eventually ❤

jin isn't weak. hahaha he just has an unnatural flexibility, it's hard to lock movements cos his body doesn't lock in certain positions our bodies are meant to. he actually is a taekwondo black-belter, plays tennis, loves snowboarding, likes working out a lot too -- but he prefers making people laugh and acting all goofy, and also a frequent downplayer of his capabilities. i adore him for it. 🥹💜 as for jimin, he worked really hard and yes he's naturally gifted too. he has background in modern dancing (some people call it contemporary dancing). 💜 i've done yoga and i've tried aerial exercise in the past -- they're both difficult on their own. combining the two must be really tough. and actually, women's bodies are generally more "bendable" too so i can only imagine how painful it must be for bts. 🥹

Let me help yall out. The back row from left to right goes jhope (brown shirt, rm, jungkook, then v. The front row from left to right is suga, Jin, then jimin. Jungkook is the youngest, then v, jimin, rm, jhope, suga, and last is Jin (from youngest to oldest). You guys seem to recognize rm, jhope, and jimin. You can tell jk & v apart /usually/ by their hair or voices. Taehyung has a deeper voice than jk and his hair tends to be fluffier/curly but they change their hair all the time so i wouldn't rely on that. Jin is on the taller side and has broader shoulders. Suga is going to be one of the shortest so that's how you can tell (if they're standing anyway lmao).

Military service in South Korea is 1 year and 9 months. They will enter the army on 1/2023 and leave on 9\2024. They have 3 months left until 2025. I think they will take a break, and then they will return as seven members in 2025.

If you saw a member with a tattoo on his arm and piercing on his lips+eyebrows, it's definetely Jungkook also the youngest member. That's the only way I can help yall to differentiate him to V🤣😭

It is mandatory military service, but the korean government brought up the idea of exemption, bts never asked or tried to be exempted themselves. The idea was first brought up in 2018 and has been dragged on ever since because the gov wasn't sure if bts were "worthy" of exemption. But the obvious reality is that the gov was just trying to take advantage of bts' success. One of the proposed ideas allowed bts to continue working as artists but give all their earnings to the government for 3 years! Finally this year, bts held a free concert in Busan. The government wanted to see the impact this would have and decide from this event whether or not they'd allow exemption for bts. But the day after the concert, hybe announced that bts chose to enlist (jin cancelled his delayed enlistment too) without anyone knowing, so the gov and korean media took this by big surprise. (actually we recently found out Coldplay knew about their decision for a while lmao, hence the song they gifted to jin) So don't fall for the fake news because bts chose to enlist and never thought of avoiding their duties as korean men. They weren't forced because this was something they were prepared to do anyways. As an army, I am sad to see them go, but in the end bts chose their own path and I respect them so much for it.

10:20 Jimin has an extensive background in both multiple forms of martial art and multiple forms of dance. For example he is a black belt in Taekwondo and he was a top student in contemporary dance which both are things you need to be very strong and flexible to do. But he is also trained i Hapkido and 8 years of Kendo etc., he started out dancing street/hip hop/popping and competing winning competitions and then majored in contemporary dance but also did other forms of classic dance. He also works out at the gym a lot and runs. Many people tends to forget how bad ass he is due to his nice, sweet and often more cute manners.

A caviot to this statement to many ppl are stating erroneously that ,"they decided to enlist on there own." To be clear they did not have a choice as it's mandatory, however they decided to renig on the extension Jin specifically had as he's the oldest instead of allowing the politician to keep playing games with their future and the back and forth on whether their contributions to SK would grant them an exemption like the sport start and classical musicians of note, although they never asked for one.

I know of at least 10 different idols and or groups that did aerial (flying yoga). It's fun but tiring , anybody can do it children, adults even if your bigger or like a plus size person Jimin Hobi Jin are the most flexible but Jimin did contemporary ballet and jazz I think Jin Suga Hobi were the loudest Jimin and JK did good which isn't a surprise but Joon did great which is surprising, Tae did better than I thought JK has a sleeve tattoo and I think 25 in total along with 9 ear piercing including his eyebrow and lip Hobi is wearing Brown Suga is wearing white Jimin is next to the teacher V is behind the teacher Jin is the oldest Jk youngest,vocal,dance RM is the leader,rapper Hobi dance leader, rapper Suga rapper compose prod. BTS NEVER tried to get out of their military duty. It was actually the other large agencies that used BTS’ name to have the rules changed so that NO Idols had to serve in the military. BTS had nothing to do with it. Eventually, the law was changed but only to allow Idol groups to defer until they were 30 IF they made significant contributions to the country, which they didn’t. Ironically, only BTS qualified - no other Idol group did!! Lawyers were still trying to fight it out in Court when BTS announced they had every intention of serving. They serve for 18 months to 2 years.

Na BTS never tried to escape the military enlistment. They always said they would like to enlist. They were meant to enlist like 2 years ago but the government said they might get an exemption since they bring so much money into South Korea. But the government was taking too long to make the decision and BTS were getting criticised by the media and public for not enlisting already even though it wasn’t BTS’s fault. At the end BTS were like f the government we will make our own decision and they decided to enlist as their choice.

Fact: they weren't forced to serve. They were willing to serve in 2020 but the company wanted to delay it

North and South Korea are still technically at war with one another, that's why military service is mandatory. Some politicians were trying to revise the laws concerning military service in South Korea, mentioning BTS as the main example of why they should include pop artists in the categories that could potentially be exempted from military service if they fulfilled a determined amount of requirements, but BTS members themselves always said they would fulfill their duty in the military when the time came.

BTS never tried to "escape" military service. It is the govt that was delaying their enlistment. It is mandatory(so by theory yes every male is "forced" to serve), so all able-bodied men in SK have to serve, with a few exemptions like classical musicians and athletes. A lot of entertainment companies gathered together to petition the govt to exempt K-pop idols also...BTS's company was not even among those companies who wanted their k-pop idols to be exempt from service, but BTS were used as a prime example as to why idols have to be exempt....but BTS themselves have mentioned that they will and are ready serve once they are called upon to serve. There was a law made called "the BTS law" which allowed k-pop idols to extend their enlistment date to 30 years(they can serve when they turn 30), with the requirement that they receive the order of cultural merit awarded by the govt(so far, only BTS have this award).

BTS didn't try to not serve...There was talk that they should be exempted...And they should because of all their accomplishments

BTS never tried to escape military service. They said they will do it if they have to. Some people are just overreacting and spreading rumors of it being "forced". Their agency, Bighit released their enlistment news themselves since the ministry of defense has just been wasting time for the past 3-4 years. They are aware of BTS's global success and still want the money so they've been postponing the decision for a long time. The ministry of defense shamelessly said that BTS members can take part in performances while being in the military. I mean, if they are being sent to the military like a normal Korean man then why do you want them to perform as well? Let 'em complete their duty in peace.

You said military for 4 years?! xD yeah no it's 18 months for each member but they aren't all going at once, they're all going by the end of next year most likely after they finish solo projects :) They'll be having a HUGE comeback in 2025! tbh I have mixed feelings about them not going at the EXACT same time, like 1 if they did they would be back sooner, but 2 they'd all be gone lol. this way we'll usually have at least 1 member not enlisted to keep us entertained xD hahaha If you're interested in their current solo work this is what they're up to: 1. Jin - Releasing his Solo Debut single called "The Astronaut" on 10/28 at midnight ET, performing with Coldplay in Buenos Aires on the same day at their concert! 2. RM - Teased his upcoming solo album on instagram, no official announcement. He has been casted as the MC for a korean variety show called "The Mysterious Dictionary of Useless Human Knowledge" 3. Jungkook is currently in Qatar for the world cup, we still aren't sure what his solo activities are there. 4. V is I think chilling with family, haven't heard much from him other than him posting photos of the members of them hanging out together. 5. J-hope recently had his solo debut a few months ago and is chillin 6. Jimin has been working with lots of producers lately, so many group photos with them have been released so we're assuming his solo is soon! 7. Suga has been posting lots of professional solo photos on instagram, unsure what he's working on at the moment, i'm assuming his solo like the rest.
