First concert I ever went to was RUN DMC in San Diego back in 86, dressed BBoy style with the shell toes and black leather jacket. I was 14. JAY are the letters of his name, Still the King, and always RUNS house forever

Man I LOVE THIS! I was born in 1980 and I can literally remember hearing my siblings playing their music. And I remember all of their songs. I’m sitting here with tears in my eyes because the memories.🥹 It’s Run for me with that same little swag walk from way back when.😊

The reason I fell in love with rap. The best rap duo ever. Their impact in hip hop music is undeniable. Sad that they don't get the recognition the deserve. From their showmanship to their mannerisms, they undoubtedly left their mark on hip hop culture

I have looked up to this guy's since 1984 when they they performed in Detroit, I've been wearing Adidas ever since, and continue to this day to wear Adidas because of them and I will always love them. Pray to God one day I will be able to meet them and not only bring them back to Detroit form one last time. But to spend some time with them. IMHO I rank Public Enemy & Wu-Tang higher than Run DMC..however they are extremely important to the progression of the art form..I’ll take Ultramagnetic or Wu-Tang over the Juice Crew ! Juice crew was dope but some inconsistency..
