Thank you Al Carius for the direction that you instilled in me through the “Run for fun and personal bests” philosophy. You transflormed this skinny little kid with very low self esteem into a NCAA Champion. I’ve been a champion ever since!
As a member of the Women's cross country and track teams from 91-95, I thoroughly enjoyed my track family. I used to watch every lap of the 10,000, 5,000 and steeplechase because our team made it so entertaining.
What a great program. I see some of the guys I competed against in this video, and I couldn't be happier for them that they were able to be a part of this program.
