Freezing conditions meets local tailwaters. While it may look like I'm fishing near a thermal vent, the conditions seen here are are a result of slightly warmer tailwater releases below a dam on a frigid Colorado day. This is exactly the kind of scenery to keep my appetite satiated on such a bone-chilling day, where temps outside were approximately 18 degrees. Join me on the Blue!
