I first met Parkour Mada association back in January 2019 to participate in courses and training sessions. I then discovered a community of passionnate people, living their sport fully at 100%. The fact that you don't need any equipment, and that the capital is full of spots, make it the perfect sport for adventurous malagasys.
I wanted to tell their story, how they do Parkour with almost nothing, help each other, motivate themselves and reach a technical level that has nothing to be ashamed of compared to the world's best freerunners. During 5 weekends, I followed them on the city's best Parkour spots, and was lucky to meet the differents athetes and collectives.
The objective of this short documentary is to lighten up this niche sport, underground activity, that is even less known in Madagascar that in Europe, and really deserves to be talked bout.
