Best track of the album. Its pointless if others forgive you, if in the end you don't forgive yourself. Guilt is destructive.

I often give the slight edge to Mike's verses on RTJ tracks but really: El's verse on this is frankly goosebumps-good, so dense with pathos, poignancy and very real gravitas. All the feels, every time.

As a combat veteran and humanist I wanted to say; Thank You. This is a work of art, with genuine heart it is delivered and with tears closure received. This is where we separate the plywood from the dinosaurs.

Killer Mike's verse was juicy and relatable as always! (I'm from Atlanta) But man.. El-P's verse on this song was absolutely flawless. His flow, delivery and not to mention CONTENT were top notch. 5 stars out of 5.

Even though El-P is talking about joining the army, it works perfectly at explaining how many young men and women who join gangs feel. The verse originally resonated with me because that's what I thought he was talking about and then when I realized he was talking about the military it just showed that even though people are very different our struggles can be very similar.

Why is el p so fn amazing? These 2 are the best duo I've heard. I've loved both for a long time and I just can't get enough of their content. It's all love and awareness. So deep and inspiring many times over!

Every time I listen to these tracks I uncover another layer of brilliance. I've been listening to El-P since that Soundbombing shit in the late 90s (I'm America!) and one of the greatest things about his music, including this RTJ shit, is that I never fully decipher the code. There's always another layer in there I missed. That's why this shit will always be at the top of my list.
