Una pescata senza troppo pretese mirata a palamite e barracuda viene presto animata da un attacco di un tonno rosso di grossa taglia,fuga difficilmente arrestabile e conseguente rottura del braid poco prima di finire del tutto il trecciato in bobina.
p.s. Lo so,avrei dovuto sostituire i dischi frizione del mulinello,ma purtroppo causa ritardo consegna poste non sono riuscito a riceverli in tempo.
A fishing session looking for bonitos and barras is animated by a strike of a big tuna,almost impossible to stop it,and breaking the braid was unavoidable.
P.S. I know, I should have replaced the drag disk, but unfortunately,due to delivery delay I was unable to receive them in time.

Hi Thomas...very hard to land it in a place like this,in the video you can see far away at left some signal buoys,the tuna was already turning for going into the chains for breaking,so,not many things to do...but is the game

Hi,that's was a "desperately"situation,fish was too big and i was too light with that combo,when i noticed i was almost getting spooled i tried to put more pressure cause the drag was already to the max,but no way to stopping it....in the end fish has probably broke the braid in the bottom

Hi Sir, I see the rod action during the fight and I think I can say it is a very powerful rod, I check the DM in DURO series which action is a little bit different to the ACCURA and I was asking to my self what's the best option between DURO 100H or ACCURA 100H for Shore Jigging with jiggs and other lures in a 50 to 150 range, for deep places with rocky bottom in hard currents and winds when the time is hard but not the usual, with your experience can you tell me what of these rod series do you recommended me? I am targeting for big amberjack and tuna (30 to 50 kilos) with a Daiwa spool 4500H to 5500H or Shimano 8000 to 10000 or 14000 which body is the same... And 3 to 4 PE braid, I am not sure which is these models ACCURA or DURO is the best for the job.

Hi Fran, for such range and PE (50 to 150gr)both model Accura 100H and Duro 100H are fine, but in windy condition and strong tides, probably Duro can give a better control and response,especially if you prefere faster rod. Have a nice day ✌️

Hi Nick,according to some local spearfishermen,the size of the tunas around the area was around 80/100kg...in this case i don't belive you can do many things,some fish are simply unstoppable from shore...maybe with a 20.000 and an HHH rod you can try to stop it,but it depends also about the depth...if the tuna goes very deep during the run (60/80mt or more),the game become more and more hard,cause the water pressure literally stack the fish below,even when is tired,in the end is a matter of right place(not too deep and free space to fight),and fish size (below 50/60kg you can have chances to win,up to 60kg start to be another story)

Veramente un pesce mostruoso, che mi fa venire in mente una domanda: la canna da shore jigging la scegliete in base allo spot e alla profondità, e quindi in base al peso dei jig, oppure si guarda prima ai possibili pesci che in un determinato spot si possono insidiare? Grazie mille!

ciao,allora bisogna guardare entrambe le cose,ma per non far confusione direi come primo parametro di scegliere in base alle grammature che andremo ad utlizzare...una canna medio/leggera in mano ad un angler esperto può essere grado di portare a terra anche pesci di buona taglia(nei limiti),ma sulle grammature non ci sono compromessi,se uno intende lanciare jig da 100 grammi orientarsi sull'acquisto di una canna da 60/ 80gr mette l'attrezzo solo a rischio rotture e problemi,quindi direi per scegliere una canna da shore come prima cosa valutare il cast weight,e dopodichè le eventuali prede potenziali

giusepe the brakes where to the max?? i think you should use the angle of the rod instead of your hand to brake.....and leave the fish next time until the last meters and then cut.....it was half spool....

yes,drag was at the max,but the big problem was far away at left there are chains of big signal buoys(you can see it in the video),and the tuna was running directly into it

Conosco cosa si prova. Qualche anno fa mi capitò nell'arco di una sola ora, dallo scoglio nello stesso periodo dell'anno 11 e dico 11 strike tutti con la stessa fine. Kilometri di trecciato e nylon e relative esche portate via dalla forza bruta di tonni. Un pomeriggio epico, dopo una pioggia temporalesca, nel basso salento. Mangianza sotto riva di tonni stimati tra i kg 5 a salire. Sono andato via dalla disperazione con l'adrenalina che mi faceva tremare le mani.

cazz Enrico,11 strike significa che sotto avevi un branco di pesci mostruoso..la cosa incredibile della pesca è che a volte non succede nulla per giorni o settimane e poi in poche ore succede l'inferno...pazzesco

Ciao ho provato pure io la sensazione di abboccate simili, con l'impotenza di frenare un simile forza della natura. Alla fine non sai bene se maledire il momento, pensando di non aver messo in campo l'attrezzatura giusta oppure ringraziare di aver provato almeno per 10 minuti la sensazione di poterlo portare a riva.

Unfortunately 100kgs,well,we knew about it cause we meet a spearfisherman and he told us that the average tunas size in the area was around 100kgs 🥲

@@giuseppefanten5922 I understand however I found it weird that He made 100kg as distinct size of the tuna. Is that more that He got surprised that this one was not regular sized as other 100kg ones ? I always thought that with SJ tackle tunas up to 60 kg are possible to catch so if He said it was not 60 kilos tuna it would mean that you had a chance. This way it means very little if it was 300, 200, 100 or 80kg tuna.... only difference is how fast one gets spooled.

Sto andando a boavista parto l' 1 maggio 2019. Ho acquistato una canna da spinning cast 100 grammi. E uno shimano SEDONA 8000 11 KG DI DRUG CHIUSO. CHE FILO DEVO METTERCI? E sarà sufficiente come attrezzatura? Non sono pratico di spinning ho sempre praticato surfcasting

ciao Bruce,guarda su due piedi ti direi un PE 5/6 che equivale a circa 75/90lb,dovresti essere coperto per tutto quello che può girare da terra tranne forse grossi squali che non so se capitano di frequente a spinning,ma ti dico ciò solo in base a racconti di amici che hanno pescato là,io non son mai stato quindi prendi tutto come consiglio generico

Todos los que veo pegando peces grandes de orilla se vuelven locos con el maldito drag, llevenlo preparado y asi no parten la linea, no se desesperen. No sacan ni uno desesperados cerrando y c errando freno hasta que parte, dejen el pez coger linea y luego con calma lo acercan. El secreto es el freno usenlo correctamente....

Questo era un tonno di almeno 50/100 kg la sua canna é un mostro ed era completamente piegata...frizione tutta chiusa...mamma mia che belve che girano lì.......spettacolo ma brutto averlo perso così si era portato almeno 200 m di trecciato

Because of you this fish escaped you did a big mistake when you locked up the drug quickly like this way you must let the drug run as long as the fish is still strong and retrieve the line as it possible and you have to maneuver as the situation is need lock the drug little sometime loose it sometime retrieve the line as it possible and let it run out if it was not until the fish become exhausted then you can lock the drug slowly and retrieve the line and you can get your fish peacefully Goodluck in the next time

Yes,this is the way when you are in a boat,but from shore you can't do the same,if the fish run into an obstacle(look in the video at more less 200/250mt at left,was full of chain of a fishfarm),you have to try to stop it,so,i had no choice,but the fish size was out of my tackle power
