I love these build out videos! The lumber advertised dimensions are for rough cut lumber. When they plane it and sand it down it loses some. For instance a 2" x 4" stud is really 1-1/2" x 3-1/2". RV people always have issues with mice and bugs at the campgrounds. The critters find the holes. Where ever you punch through for cords or there are small gaps I suggest filling the hole with steel wool which stops mice then covering that with caulk or spray foam so the steel does not rust.
The "chair-beds" -- I remember these things back in HI! For people who couldn't afford a full futon with frame, or just as temporary furniture, or for kids, these were great! Cheap, multi-use items! And probably great for what a Runaway Camper or car camping, too! ... And cool that you've got these skills to build shelves, too!

Charles Moman yeah I put an end support on and tried to fit it in before adding the other support legs and I couldn’t get it in so I took it off and put the middle legs on and it went right in. Then I added the end legs.
David Nordstrom to get it registered in Florida it was around $270? I think that’s about what it was. Insurance is covered when in tow attached to my vehicle with my insurance. You can add theft which is a different insurance but I store mine in my garage so I didn’t.
