Runaway Camper Collides With An Island!

Come along as we camp in our tiny Runaway Rangerunner Mini Camper at an Ohio State Park that is located on an island in the Great Lakes. We take you along for a ferry boat ride on Lake Erie to reach our destination on Kelleys Island. We hike, bike, ride a golf cart and sight see. We visit the Glacier Grooves Geological Preserve, Kelleys Island Land Field Airport, Winery Ruins, Quarry Ruins Loading Dock and KI Cantina. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel! Just this fall I was looking at Kelly’s Island. It would be costly to take our small 5th wheel but worth it. You guys did a great job showing it.

Thank you so much for the positive feedback. There is so much more to see. There was actually a Tornado Warning while there. It kept us from showing everything due to the storm damage. We have a separate video coming on that so keep watching. Happy Camping! 🌸

One of our best camping trips was to Kelley’s Island it’s such a nice clean campground. Don’t do too much too quick because you’ll run out things to do fast. A 3 night stay is long enough but those 3 nights are very relaxing! Nice video, looking forward to seeing you guys out in the wild!

Agreed. This was a three night trip for us. I love it though. Very relaxing. A lot of hiking trails we didn’t show. Couldn’t get to some of them due to storm damage. We will have the Tornado warning video and damage that occurred coming next. Thanks for witching. Can’t wait to see you guys again. Happy Camping 🌸

We loved Kelley’s Island last summer. We will definitely go back. We missed the winery ruins! The Cantina had amazing margaritas! Nice cancellation score!

I love it there as well. Keep an eye out for the next video. It will be on the tornado damage that happened to the island when we were there. Quite a crazy weekend experience!

I remember seeing Glacier Grove years ago with my dad and thinking how neat it was to see in person, along with all the trails to walk. We rode bikes a lot too. Great video! Stay warm in these winter months! lol. Come on spring!

Thanks for watching. As you know, there is so much more to see on the island but a tornado came through when we were there. A lot of the stuff was not accessible. I am making a separate video on the storm damage. I am so ready for the spring as well! 🌸

@@PriceTagAquariums we fared pretty good. All roads that accessed the campground were blocked and the electric lines knocked down. It was scary but all went well.

Well, Laura and I stole the L bed design from you, and now I am going to steel the wood block with rubber backing. They say things come in 3's. I wonder what is next. LOL. Nice video and review. We might have to make it up there some time.

On booking, if you did not get a cancellation how hard is it to get reservations?

In the state of Ohio, you can only book 6 months in advance. Kelly’s Island does get packed really quick so you need to book it as far in advance as you can. Thanks for the question. Keep watching and Happy Camping!
