The album is alternative and experimental, it won't be for everyone, but it's definitely my taste, I listened to it like 5 times top to bottom since yesterday lol

In a world of bland homogeneous pop. RM makes you stop and think. Its strangely addictive and after a 4th or 5th listen... its a favourite. In a world of fast fashion and fast pop designed more for the fast buck than art. RM is that rare breed. A successful artist with alot to lose who just wants to make music. He trusts that his fans are not stupid and will enjoy complex ideas, interesting sound scapes and music designed to provoke your own imagination not be disposable brain dead junk. So this album is getting alot of love and respect from other artists.

Optical illusions are used to portray the intricate workings of Namjoon's mind. Alongside him are four personas, each reflecting different facets of his psyche: a confident long-haired woman, a fearful straight-haired man, a childlike figure embodying the god of destruction with frizzy hair, and a curious short-haired woman, as exemplified in the hamster wheel scene. While there are influences from Western artists, RM consistently credits and respects their contributions, evident throughout his album. For a comprehensive understanding, watching the album exchange video with Jimin provides valuable insight into RM's creative process and the underlying themes of each song.

To all people that hear this song for the first time on this reaction please note that the sound on this vid is terrible (sorry guys but it is), so give it a chance and listen to the original cause it's so many things to explore in this track. I love this album, I wasn't expecting this from him and I wasn't ready but I'm obsessed with it. Remember to share this album also ARMY vote for RM on mcountdown. I think that the part that wasn't translated at the beginning (when two presenters talk) was intentional to make you feel "lost". RM talked about inspiration behind the album in "MMM(Mini & Moni Music) - RM" an interview/talk with Jimin. It dropped today. You should watch it! 😄

The rap line of BTS have been highly influenced by American hip hop from the start of their musical lives. Which was during their teenage years. It is an open secret and they have paid tribute to American hip hop past and present throughout their careers. Including their musical influencers today.

14:53 I read it was intentionally made, host usually would mispronounced their name and the switch of attitude of the 2 host (welcoming-cold-welcoming) maybe that is what usually happens behind the scenes. People want to capitalise them/him putting him on the spot and if you realised at the end it took them some time before they they said his name
