Rundeer eBike - Weird John Deere knockoff or something good? 

So glad to see you back riding! Your judgment mid-video makes sense; I've seen a lot of Lectrics locally (in the Phoenix area), I think for many of the reasons you mention here, plus... Lectric's HQ is local.

Good review and happy to see you back. This seems like a lot of other "cookie cutter" models. I'd take the Lectric and pocket a couple of Benjamins.

If you want to get into the ebike world then this could be a good starter bike.

Good to seeing you back on bikes! I’m glad you described the different power management styles of bikes equipped with cadence sensors. I wish more brands disclosed what style they program into their cadence sensor bikes. The type that seeks to hit speeds can make you lose control with stronger motors, especially when starting from a stop or trying to navigate tight turns. I’ve actually been thrown off by one of these due to a surge of power while I was trying to climb a curb at low speed. You also have to keep changing PAS levels as you change your speed to match conditions or simply accelerating to cruising speed from a stop. The type that sets power output is easier to control. Simply use the PAS level that gives you the assist you want at a given time. It also makes it easier to match speeds with other riders when riding with a group. Not as easy as a bike that uses a torque sensor, but easier than the speed-seeking style.

I have a similar bike from ENGWE called the Engine Pro. Those fenders are way too loud and close for mud or off-road. a lot of people remove them. Some have even fallen off and caused people to crash. It is better to get hit with some water occasionally than to crash.

would you take it out 50mi spend a night (charging it) and come back on it? would you do that time and time again? On that line of thought; Would you 'bike tour' on it for a week, month, or longer? It Looks rugged, Does it have staying power?

I need a configuration that takes me to 90 km/h on flats and 50 km/h uphill... I'm looking at a 3000w gearless hub, but would a 750w geared hub do at 72v and 15A nominal 35A peak?

As groceries for me or 50 to 75 miles round-trip I'm looking for something that can bring back 200 lb of people and chicken food which to me seems more like a cargo bike love to see what you have for US country folks that are out in the bushes

Ride real bike defender S if you go 20 or 50 no any extra vibrations, Start bike fat tire 26x4" , 48V, 17Ah bat, 750 W hub motor front or rear, cadence sensor fixed on speed levels pass 1..5 hydraulic breaks min maintenance, , no rear suspension good rear rack , front suspension and rear fender optional. Get rid of side reflectors on wheels single is unbalanced so remove it or put 2 and try to balanc ! , this bike is good for put in to car and drive car, if you want ride and pedal buy Defender S min 2 bat or 3 can give more range and higher avg speed with long life for baterries.
