Right, move your sim in, set the household funds to "0", sell the yard sale stuff and junk to use towards fixing it up. I love playing that way! Thank you Chantal!

Oh, this makes me want to start up the game and play. One of my favorite gameplays is having a young Sim (for harder difficulty, making them a teen) inherit a fixer-upper and have them work at fixing it up and filling it with a family. ^_^

I'm using this as part of my Whimsy Story Challenge for my interior designer. You have to live in the last house you flip and I chose this one. I'm redoing different parts on different days in game.
