Does anybody else wish that during the monologue about how the villagers were angry at him, Dylas said "Volcanon nearly decked me. Forte almost cut me to bits. Leon chased me all over town with a shovel..."

I just love how EVERYONE is like, "Oh it's all Dylas' fault." Frey can do no harm lol

I love how they just all took Freys side without a moment to think. Also I can just see in my minds eye Forte and Leon teaming up to kill Dylan.

I found the rain so much more romantic, that when he heard that he had hurt Frey he waited outside her home despite the downpour.

Dylas obviously the best. The way he nonchalantly says damn every time he speaks, that beautiful hair of his, and that tsundere attitude. He is wonderful :) its like falling in love with inuyasha all over again :^)

Compared to the other proposal events, Dylas got the most bland of them all. The other bachelors expanded their back story during their events, but Dylas only got a short time to explain his, almost like a non-obligatory bonus. However, he's still my favorite one among all the other bachelors, dunno why, I just find him the most endearing and sweet, regardless of his cold personality at first because, to be honest, I would react the same way as him if I had lost my memory all of the sudden, plus being sorrounded by new people can be very stressing. I love him a lot, and I'm happy I made my first family with him, he's such a good dad

What makes rune factory 4 special are the dialogue. It is like you can feel each one. All characters have personality. And you are so curious as to what their thoughts are. Truly a masterpiece. Hope they continue this in rune factory 5

The other day, when I got his proposal event, my plan was to say no to his proposal event at first and then give him an engagement ring after, just to see some other possible dialogue. (I'd already married him on another file that was MANY years old, so it'd been a while) But when I actually went through the whole event, holy shit, I physically could NOT say no in that moment. I was just like "If I say no to this dude's face I am gonna feel like the _actual_ devil." I've NEVER had a fictional character affect me this badly! Extra dialogue be damned, I just said yes and went with it. It's better this way XD

I love these kinds of games. It allows you to become fully invested in the lives of the characters, so you have a full emotional connection to them.

Although most comments are old, I'd like to put here that to activate the proposal you only need about 3-5 dates, and then hope that the RNG is nice to you otherwise you can exploit making sure there are no town events, save with Dylas or whoever in your party and the next day talk to EVERYONE in town, check your diary and if there's a town event scheduled that day restart but don't save. Also the prelude to this is Dylas' Smile Practice. You have to do that or you can't marry him. Also make sure to at least start arc 2

You know, I just noticed that the developers of the game seemed to have spent much more time with the Bachelorettes' proposals than with the Bachelors. The girls' marriage events took much longer and were in greater detail than that of the guys. Though, it being their first (and most likely last) Rune Factory where you can marry a male, I guess it's just something they were not use to. On a side note, would have been absolutely HILARIOUS if you did like your Amber video and changed Frey's appearance and name to Doug's xD

I remember when this event happened to me I was waiting and waiting for it and when it happen I almost broke my 3Ds out have happiness XD (also the wedding had some how in a nut shell ended up on Valentine's Day)

Not even going to lie...I feel ten times worse for Dylas in this than I do Frey. Why? Because Frey *_TWENTY_* people supporting her while Dylas is is literally being attacked thanks to him having terrible social skills (which...I mean... *_GOD_* is that relatable...me being mildly autistic I've been in very similar (although less violent) situations). Yes, he was a jerk to Frey, and yes he may have deserved at least some of what he got, but at the same time I tend to empathize more strongly with those who have the least amount of support.

This is honestly the best one. I ended up marrying Leon, but Dylan is definitely the bigger sweetheart.
