seriously tho, just started playing again and already hyper-analyzing how I can rapidly skill and quest and deep down I just wanna forget everything I know and accidentally die in the wilderness all over again
James Brodie IMO don’t try to be extremely efficient. Just flow with the game. What made it fun was the community and mystery. Now that theres not much mystery focus on the community.
I totally agree ping pong. Back when your knowledge was limited, having a 2m bank made you feel wealthy, PKing a Rune armour set for 180k felt like winning the lottery. All in all, your willingness to explore, learn, and innovate was all what was required to be mesmerized by the wonderful creation called RuneScape. Now it's just 5b+ bank, max gear, max efficiency, maxed Alts, completionist, skill cap, everyone's sweaty and amazing at the game, dog shit devs don't fix already existing content and strive to make new content, half-ass updates, toxic community, terrible PvP, the list goes on... and so does this shit game.
Wow, this song really brings me back to when I was exprriencing runescape for the first time.. Completely immersing myself in the experience at about 10 years old for the first time. All the way to 28 years old. What an experience.
I mean, at first these remixes were only funny. But then I started noticing that this is really LIT. I mean, check 1:51. there's just something about the OSRS soundtracks that make them inherently lit and at the same time good-hearted trap beats. Maybe it's the midi sounds, and there's just something special aobut these original melodies, I don't know. These remixes are perfect
0:00 Once upon a time, a young traveller decides to wander off west of Lumbridge. Going through forests, passing strange but friendly creatures. After a while of roaming he spots a book under a dead tree. Intrigued, he goes towards it, and opens it. 1:52 magical effects, the traveller experiences magic like never before. 2:26 He closes the book and the magical effects disappear. He quickly takes the book and decides to go back to his home town Lumbridge. 3:10 This time on his way back, the creatures no longer seem to be friendly, glaring at him as he carefully treads along. He tries to avoid them but it's no use, the creatures decide to surround him. The creatures launch an attack on him, and he opens the book. 3:46 magical effects, The book defends the traveller from all the creatures. 4:43 the creatures flee and the traveller is safe but also anxious
Dude, this is beautiful. I want someone to animate this and put this track to it, its like I can see it in my head. Shit, I'm save this and some money up and just PAY someone to animate it!
Had a random Runescape OST playlist going and this started playing in the auto-play without me realizing it was a remix. I was quite surprised by that beastly drop.
im not sure why but this one hits different. Sea Shanty 2 is a great track and so is your remix of it, however Book of Spells just brings back more memories of adventuring alone, exploring a new place. Love all your stuff man.
Lol I'm really wondering how this would do at a festival if some DJ were to suddenly drop it. I honestly think people might like it. Just that first drop part mixed in between other stuff.
3:30 into the drop gr8 m1x 0ut 0f 8 m8 Edit: Also wanted to mention 8/8 for keeping original to the entire songs you mix and not just hooking their melodies.
I keep coming back to this track... The build-up and drop is so unreal that I had to use it again for one of my future PvP montages. Keep up the good work!
What do I do man.... I have such good memories of the old times, and I always want to go back to them. The old RS friends, discovering things for the first time. None of it can happen again.
This song is so fire it never stopped burning from its release. Always come back to it. Hell, i'll even play it when I pass by that area that plays the song.
The first part of the song makes gives me all those nostalgic feelings of wonder and amazement when playing rs as a kid. Then when the drop comes, it's like a flash forward into my account now in osrs and how far I've come with knowledge and skill in the game having achieved things that I never would have imagined doing. It does a great job at making me feel nostalgic and like a badass at the same time.
I liked the intro! Just wanted to tell you, Cus it looks like it got a lot of hate. This has always been one of my favorite RS songs BECAUSE of the intro riff. I think you did this song justice with this remix.
I don't usually listen to trap but man, you did such a great job with this one :D I'm gonna check out rest of your songs now Also, the second part of the song (with the choir in the background) - love this
this and the newbie song best tracks on this lineup.. theres also alot of other people making cool runescape remixes but you on the top bud jus know that !!! (firm handshakes)
Great mix! The "intro" is long, but that is just how the song goes in real rs too. My fav part is at 03:13. I've always wanted someone to make trap beats of rs songs and I have been watching your video's for a long time. Keep up the good work!
Okay so I'm drunk right now and just thinking of my D&D campaign I'ma run soon. Everything is amazing because I LOVE "Book of Spells" from Runescape. Problem is I forgot I clicked on a trap remix. When 1:51 came up, I cannot explain what I did... so here I go: it was some form of a weird white-boy dance and vibe-ing like heck. Bro, I'm loving this..
