That’s a very generous thing to say as I don’t think would have spent as much money on the soundtrack as something like Bethesda or Witcher did.. but still beautiful music indeed
@@Chazza_1201 A great soundtrack is something you can't necessarily buy. What runescape lacked in budget it more than made up for by having full time employees constantly developing it imo.
The RuneScape 3 soundtracks are so beautiful.... they don't carry quite the same nostalgia, but god damn if they aren't beautiful... They would accompany a live-action movie very well. And listening to them is giving me sparks of inspiration to write the script and stage directions for such a movie...
this really shows how well written those songs are when converted from poor quality "instruments" to actual professional musicians. Ian Taylor is a freaking simplistic genius.
I'd go to a classical concert with this music playing. Old people would probably also love it anyway, they might not know it, but they would surely enjoy the quality of the music.
same here brother the game is best left in the past as its no longer enjoyable to play anymore [for me atleast] the community has changed too much since the old days.. but the music lives on
Second Harmony in a classical/orchestral fashion is just... so damn beautiful. I feel like I'm playing Skyrim on a hunting adventure with the added runescape nostalgia
I could listen to Sea Shanty anywhere and I'd feel like I'm in an old sea side port exactly like how runescape made it lol with fisherman and big wooden boats
This inspired me to continue our Runescape Total Conversion mod for Medieval Engineers.... We need more compilations... And the devs need to make music mod-able! I want this music in the game!
this throws me back into my 16 year old head when id get home from school and want nothing more then to see if my rs friends were online and mine some iron ore
They both are from the UK, also the track is made by the same composer that also made Harry Potter tracks :D So you can compare the sound track with a Harry Potter sound track perfectly!
@@Thelaretus For me personally, it was because someone had hacked into my account years after I stopped playing, which ended up getting me banned. It took me a lot of effort to get my account unbanned. I was lucky, because most people don't get their accounts back even if it's not their fault. But the damage had already been done. The botter ended up doing a lot of stuff in the that I would have rather done myself. So it feels like my years of playing it properly was a waste of time.
Does anyone know where a full version of this Flute Salad can be found? 29:29 I can't find it anywhere, but it is SO EPIC that there must be a full version of it somewhere.
If ever there is a RuneScape movie, there shouldn't be only one main character, just that the mainest main character, us, comes from our world because of some reason, and is transported to the original Tutorial Island like an Isekai
I would pay a 100 bucks for a VRMMORPG/3rd person hack and slash combat style RuneScape in current day graphics and as feature rich as possible. I NEED IT. PLEASE!!!
I think it was last updated in 2012 with the Ariane Double Bill. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xZlGAbWKyO0.html Here it is, anyway :p
Now Runescape might be full of microtransactions and for many the game is entirely unrecognisable. But I have to admit, the launch theme is one of the best I've heard so far! The one thing Jagex stays consistenly good for their main game is the soundtracks. They are always top notch!
