I go through bouts of severe depression , and there was a night I was really close to ending my life. It was like 3 in the morning, and I was sitting in my car with music playing on shuffle, and your song Alive came on. It was the first time I heard your music, and it (and the message within it) saved my life. I probably sat there for over an hour with that song on repeat, and it broke me down, in a good way. After that, I searched for more of your songs, and I came across Alright by you and yetep. Again, it just made me flood with emotion and I couldn't stop from bawling my eyes out. Since then, you have become among my top favorite artists. "Nobody tells you that it's alright to cry when you don't know why, or hate how you feel inside" is so powerful for me. You really saved my life with your words, and whenever I get into a really depressed state of mind, I throw you on shuffle and just let your words and the messages they carry lift me back up. You're amazing, and so talented with the way your art connects emotionally with not only myself, but undoubtedly with so many others who are lucky enough to have heard you. Thanks for existing.
