Awesome! The first version of Android! I cannot imagine. Martin showed me something I will remember always. See the first Beta Android and today's Android 14 Beta 4. The power of innovation. No one knows what is going to happen 12 years after. Hope Martin Nobel keeps on videos for more 10 years. It looks better than I thought.

Never seen this version before, looks very interesting. The background wallpaper also looks reminiscent of the northern lights wallpaper from Windows Vista.

That is the prototype of android, google's os, they had a blackberry styled phone in mind when they were making the os, but when the iphone was released, they changed it.

Total speculation by me, but I think it was because Android was originally for non touch screen phones, but when the iPhone came out, they wanted it to be a touchscreen os, and so they probably had to axe this for whatever reason in favor of the rather ugly ui we got on android cupcake

Description is erroneous. Android has been in development beyond 2007. I reckon sometime between 2004 and 2005 Android development began.
