Last year, I waited patiently for Daniel, to the point that he actually asked me what I wanted. I answered just a picture, but I'd wait since he was playing. Once he was out of the next hand, he graciously came over and took the pic. Could not have been nicer.
I was watching him play at the PokerGo Studio when he won over 2 million, he came out to the bar and very graciously did a selfie with me during a break. Nice guy!
Thanks for your patience! Sometimes people don't have that level of self awareness to be respectful and understanding of someones time. Like if you take a step back, think about what I deal with daily, and then choose the best time to approach me, I really appreciate that!

I feel bad for the guy that asked for the picture, but Daniel is human and he did just bust and when you get asked to take your picture all the time it’s gotta be annoying, even though he’s appreciative It is good to see he’s human let out the steam and that guy handled it well

After working at a destination where lots of celebrities' come and go. I have learned that the last thing they want to do is take another picture. I can definitely see why timing is everything especially in a competitive setting. I appreciate Daniel for keeping it real and honest. One of the things that add so much value to his content. Depends. He needs to take pictures for fans because he's kind of famous for being famous more then a skill like a actor or sports player. He makes his money because of that popularity, don't think it's from poker. Not sure and am I fan just being real.

Daniel always has just the right snacks available to help provide energy for grinding away in all the various WSOP tournaments. That 'No Butcher' stuff looks pretty good too.
I completely agree with you about the guy who interrupted you when you started filming. Sometimes, it takes time to build up the courage to ask someone for something especially someone famous for a picture. I think that since you are real and authentic and we've been watching you on videos for so long, he knew in the end that you would do it and made his trip to Vegas special. He was probably kicking himself for asking you at that moment, but he probably thought it is now or never after he built up the courage.
Daniel, for the $500 event I was at a table just to your left and watched how you interacted with fans for a couple of hours at the table and left very impressed with these interactions and your good humor about it. Ironic watching this vlog with what happened at the end but appreciate your honesty and I could totally see how frustrating that must have been after so many people asking you for photos. Good luck with the rest of the series and keep being such a positive rep to the game. You are like the Derek Jeter of poker.

I think the honest part of this where the guy asked for a photo, I trying to get the money together to come over to Vegas to experience the WSOP. May not be able to play depending on bank roll, maybe one of the lower buy-in events - nothing more than $500. I know that's one of the cheaper tournaments, but that would be at the top of my buy-in range. You have to realise your number 1 on nearly every poker players 'Get a photo with a pro wishlist?'. Not sure what I would do now, getting a photo with you can someone very happy. But I probably didn't think how that effects you..

Being real Is very important. When people are fake it’s very obvious. And what is entertaining to me. Is the realness in vlogs and reality TV. I find it very entertaining. Just like Howard Stern. It’s important to be honest and your true self.
I ran into you in 2022 wsop asking for a picture, you said sure and just the day after when I watched the vlog I saw how furious you were at that same break, I would never do that if I knew but it made me appriciate you so much for being nice for all of your fans even after an horrible day and so many people asking for pics
I hope someday to meet this guy, one of my poker heroes. Appreciate the authenticity with your videos and as a poker player can completely understand that mental state not being the happiest after busting out.
I was there walking about behind Daniel and ended up in the elevator with those guys, they absolutely did that on purpose to get in the video, they were bragging about it. We had about 40 people off and on watching Daniel on the rail. I was annoyed that 2 or 3 people were bugging him for photos and random stuff while he was sitting there. I felt proud for not bugging him just kept quiet and watched. Considering the extra distraction he is dealing with that nobody else is, to be able to still finish 16th out of 3500 is pretty damn impressive to me.

Daniel - I appreciate your explanation regarding the messy situation with the guy who pounced on your for a picture just when you started recording. I thought you handled it well, and I think you always handle this kind of thing well. I understand you want everyone to understand your side of things but for me, and most of us, no explanation is necessary. We understand.
Daniel and I shared a late night elevator ride up to our rooms at the horseshoe last year. I thought about saying something or asking for a picture. But I was tired from a long day of poker and I imagined he was too, plus these blogs made me realize how much more grueling his experience must be having to deal with this kind of stuff.
This is why I like Daniel, he's very relatable. Unlike Texas Dolly, who almost ran me over with his scooter many years ago when I was cashing out at Aria (that really happened :D ) ... didn't even notice who it was till he bumped into me, he gave me a little grin and kept going.

I seen Daniel sprinting down the hallway and a "pretty" girl asked him for a pic with her and he so graciously stopped while I took the pic and then sprinted off into the sunset. What a guy!
I bumped into Daniel outside a Golden Knights game a couple years ago. It was kind of odd because I’ve followed his career for years so it felt like bumping into a friend I knew, even though I’m just some random stranger. But he is very genuine, down to earth, and easy to talk to. It really did feel like I was talking to a friend of mine, even though he basically just gave me shit for smoking a cigarette the whole time, lol.

I had the exact same show type recently in a hotel... took me a day to figure that out as well because I was in a foreign country and the instructions were not obvious
