I bought the saucony xodus ultra 2 on your recommendation and I couldn't be happier with the trainer. Watching your channel has really helped me out with running gear as I'm a newbie to trail running.
Best gear for me has been the Speedland GS: PGH shoes. The price is insane but honestly they last about as long as 2 pair of other brands of shoes have for me in the past so it’s fine with me🤘🏻
Just recently picked up the Instinct Reflex belt after watching the review on the chanel. Had my eyes on it for a while but didn't find much reviews at the time and wasn't sure about the quality. The quality is definitely top notch and those pull tabs are perfect in winter running conditions when gloves are a must. Have to agree on sizing, was between M and L, so I went for size L and it's perfect.

Thanks for this Loyd, I'm running the Lakeland 50 next July and was researching a new head torch - I'd rather have something recommended so will have a go with the Fenix!
That is some very good gear Loyd. I myself have been starting using the Precision fuel nutrition this year and it works brilliantly. Really and upgrade from what I used before. The Instinct belt is on my wishlist for Christmas so hopefully some new gear for next year there

Not a single reviewer on RU-vid tried out the Adidas terrex agravic pro boa. And it was an amazing bomb proof trail running shoe for technical trails. No idea why?
best gear I have is a few pairs of great shoes a watch and a plan isn't that all you really need ..? rest is uneeded waste of money bunch of name brand nonsense.
Running gear is super personal and what you need for your running can be very different from someone else. I totally agree, all we really need is a good pair of running shoe, do you run in non-branded shoes? Also, do we really need a watch? There was actually a pair of good shoes in the list. Precision fuel and hydration offer free nutrition and hydration plans on their website, so that’s a plan. I run at night all the time so I think a headtorch is pretty important or else I wouldn’t be able to see where I’m going! I also think a running belt is pretty important. It allows you to carry your mobile phone for safety and a bottle of water to stay hydrated. I think both of these things are really important when it comes to our running so I’m not sure why you think it’s all a bunch of nonsense? 🤔
@Run4Adventure my point is not everyone everyone needs all that and alot of it I not needed and alot of reviewers who if have a bigger channel tend to promote expensive habits that not all of us poor cannot afford like big name brands like supplements 70.00 and up shirts 40 shorts 120.00 running vests 70.00 head torches 700.00 watches and list goes on..and on all of my shoes I got with discounts and sales all under 90.00 and year earlier models..and alot of workout clothes I have like shorts and shirts cost max of maybe 13.00 a piece off discount racks I'm just saying alot of people I see promote some brands that are only wishes or dreams out of reach of poor or budget ftiendly..and deeming useless..waste of money
@@iconik-cn5rm I’m not sure you actually watched our video because none of the items you are mentioning appear in our gear of the gear video? If your issue is with other running RU-vidrs promoting expensive gear all the time maybe you should have commented on their videos and not ours. At the end of the day the video was just highlighting items of running kit that I’ve really enjoyed using this year, I’m not telling anyone to go out and buy it. If I remember rightly, we made a video all about affordable running items from Temu and you didn’t like that either! There’s no pleasing some people, I’m really not sure why you watch videos on RU-vid? 🤔
The part with the guy slipping, was that barbed wire next to the path where he almost fell into? 🫥 Also, best gear for me is the Fractel running F series caps. The built-in sweatband works wonders.
