Running LOR Dongle and Sequence from FPP

OK I HAVETO ASK ..... If you already have a LapTop Running the Show, WHY do you need the PI ???? Did I miss Something ? Thanks for the Info ....

John, In xlights if you create models for AC light like wreath stars etc and number the channel 1-16 .and make a new sequence with mp3 or not, then add the AC model and use the ON and play with the settings ,Twinkle ,, And then upload to your FPP + the MP3 Just keep the fpp wired the same way. I hope I could show you something different because I always learn alot from your videos!!

John, great video. Could I use the PI and the PI Cap to output DMX with the LOR jumper in place to output DMX to my LOR board? My LOR setup is running DMX but I want to use the PI during the off season so I can free up the show computer

And with the FPP you can make changes in xlights sequence and save , Then upload the new fseq to the fpp while it is runningAnd the new change will take effect even with your demo or show is still playing ...

Any idea how to use a raspberry pi or arduino and have it generate the manchester code?

what did you use to provide USB power to the Falcon? and am I correct in assuming this setup allows for running an LOR show without being tethered to a Windows computer?

Does the LOR controller read your sequences? Or do you need to add rgb sequences into program?

can you run more than one controller ?
