Yeah, but a lot of the time he held back was due to his old injury, some times while filming the show he would be in pain and Ace would massage and place heating pads on his back to help him finish the show... there times that Gary could not run as fast as he wanted and in a lot of the videos it was noticeable he was hurting. I don't know when he got injured but it was during his boxing years... he could have been a champion, it was said that he really was that good and had a bright future on the ring but after his injury he had to hang his boxing gloves and walk away from something that he truly was passionate about and then he found music, later he became a member of RM. that's all I know. 🤔😔😟🙄😃

not same as strength tho i dont think Gary can win against 52 peoples in hand wrestling and Gary dont even bench tho ! Kjk is LOT stronger than Gary in every single strength required thing but gary was quick , has better leg movement and flexible hands . Kim jong kook also held back his power most of the time because for the sake of the show but sometimes like episode 93 , 195 if he dont hold it back he can win against multiple people like a nothing ! Kjk is also good boxer and training boxing for almost 20 years .

@@PN-sk3ve not only Gary ! Running man was hard for all members ! Almost all of them got herniated disk and had surgery . Even Kwangsoo who is youngest one of the original members had hernaited disk and found in his bed by his manager then his manager carried him to hospital ! Kjk was first one who had it but he used pain killer during the shoot and had multiple surgery !

@@gorilla7323 Yes, is true that KJK is stronger … but Gary is strong in many other ways and as of later episodes you could tell that after KJK, Gary was the next strongest and hard to eliminate from the games. Grasshopper was next due to he was quick at figuring things out and was good with a water gun and I think we can all agree that Big Nose Brother was the weak one.

It sure was sad when it was announced that Gary was leaving the show. I was sad to see him leave but I respect his decision to leave, I don't know about other RM fans but for me the best videos are "The Early Years" I don't think that will ever change for me. I'm alright with the two new members but it hasn't taken root for me and I can honestly say that Big Nose Brother will be next to leave due to his age, no matter how fit he is eventually his body is gonna let him know "enough already, time to take a rest and enjoy the family" 🤔

Kwangsoo is the second now but he more focused on being funny than winning but that okay since that is kwang soo character if you still watch runningman kwang was strong but i dont think he is when fight 2 and more people ...kwang soo strong at 1v1 while gary still okay at 2v1....kwang soo near to gary level from what i see now but the only problem kwang soo focused on being funny than showing his strength

Gary can’t outshine others. That’s why I respect Gary so much for holding back his ability. When I watch Come To Play, he didn’t have to hold back and his joke was hilarious and he was totally shining during that episode.

No pretty sure yoo jae suk also have once beaten jong kook and ji suk jin also managed to oust jong kook but im pretty sure that just lucky but kang gary and yoo jae suk are the 2nd strongest after jong kook depend on the time as yoo jae suk become weaker as he is the 2nd oldest but in the early running man yoo jae suk are always shown to be the strongest after jong kook altho that change around ep 150-200 where kang gary shine and earn the title mr randomly capable .
