@@AB_HVAC the black stuff is usually Bakelite, the have another name for the goo, they use it on aluminum wires as well. When’s those pull/stab disconnects melt they will fuse in there and the handle breaks off
I assume you mean the typical twice a year maintenance plans that come with like possible discounts on parts and things, I have brought it to my bosses attention for homeowners but with our main customers (property management) they don't like those kind of maintenance plans. They just want us to "maintenance" the system right before they're going to put the unit up for rent 🙃
Same here. Tough to sell commercial maintenance. We have around 250 residential maintenance customers with those perks you mentioned. I convert 70% of new customer service calls into maintenance agreements, and with the 15% discount on repairs, they will definitely call you back first.
