What motor/battery combo was in the green one ?

There's no fine tuning on the green one. The motors have way too much speed for this old construction. Serious modification is needed for it to run somewhat reliable. The motors are probably 4x as fast as the original ones. You could get away with 1,5-2x the speed but with 6500kv you will at least need belts instead of chains and a belt tensioning system.
