Dust and The Old Boys really stand out as two of the most atmospheric and awesome tracks in the Runrig discography for me, I always found it strange that this should happen when they were consecutive tracks on an album.
I can never understand why this song is so rarely heard at Runrig gigs now. As one of many young Scots trying to make a life south of the border in the 80s, this song was an anthem, an inspiration and a source of hope.......simple but so poignant.

Since I found these guys a few months ago, I am becoming a Runrig addict....lol I even have a playlist for their songs. Never been to Scotland but it has always been my dream to go. Such a beautiful country. My father's father (grandfather) was born in Scotland but I don't remember where.

The ridge seen at 1:20 is druim na ram leading from the main cuilin ridge down (south-east) with loch coruisk on the right. The bealach na ba is over on the mainland between loch carron and applecross but has great views across to raasay and sky
