The Big Wheel is the record i have heared most in my life. This Music is amazing, Runrig is amazing. Two weeks ago a friend died, we shared the Love for Runrig(but only with Donnie we did). For many years Runrig often helps me not being to sad.

Runrig makes you feel scottish even if you aren't 😁Bless Donnie Munro & the guys , bless their music and all the emotion they gave to us ! Best band ever ! Cheers from Morocco to Alba !

Saw them for the first time on this tour at the Greenbelt festival in 1992. I'd never heard of them before. Loved them ever since

Runrig will always be the winner. Brill band, seen them 8 Times. Hope they do a come back tour.

I got excited all over again as the crowd surged forward when the curtain was dropped. This was the most incredible gig I've ever been to

Hard to believe the Loch Lomond concert was 30 years ago today (22nd June 2021 at time of writing)

The intro to Headlights around the 32:20 mark is amazing, the build up is fantastic!

Thank you for sharing this video, which takes me back to the year when I "discovered" Runrig. I'm listening to it as I pack for Scotland. Saturday is going to be a sad day, but I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Thank you so much for posting. More than 20 years ago, I had my Wheel in Motion VHS converted from European format to US format no questions asked. But I no longer have the ability to watch VHS, and conversion companies no longer convert copyrighted material. I’d buy the video again if I could!

I was at Loch Lomond

In the first few minutes, when they are rehearsing 'Always the Winner', Malcolm is able to switch between 6-string and 12-string guitars without anyone noticing. Great!

Seems to me they were at their live best around this time. Tight, slick with tons of feel

Controversial opinion perhaps but I thought the later live shows were better than this one. Here Malcolm seems to be playing much more within himself than the Bruce-led Runrig allowed him to, and Rory's vocals are way too far back in the mix (which becomes obvious when he hits the chorus on Flower of the West, Donnie tries to add a lower harmony part but he's far too loud and it doesn't work).
