thx for the rawview pierre! about the referencing culture in fashion: i think it's just how naturally the referencing/creative process works. if you look it up, people have been pulling up references from old fashion trends (which nowdays are seem like important "cultural" garments, like a kimono or a sombrero, for example) wayyyy back. also, considering how branding is so necessary nowdays if you wanna successfully "sell" your drag on the show, i think being a bit nationalism/proud of your culture goes a long way, because people that are from the same country/culture as you will start rooting for you

Okay but why was I thinking the same dirty mind that Vanjie was doing with the teletubby 😂 that had me crack up. Very nice to see Manila and Latrice reprise their roles as the Teletubbys. I didn’t like the runways, especially Nina Wests looks all should’ve been burned cuz it was like “I have this and I’ll turn this look I didn’t use into a 3 to 1 look. Shannel’s was okay but that red wig should’ve been a slicked back big black bun. I would only buy Vanjie’s and plastique’s looks. I did like how Miks look was giving me the friend from Mean Girls at the prom. And jorgeous needed that wig for snatch game. I don’t think none of them knew the words to the song but I would’ve been living if Roxxxy just chose Angie to be blocked 😂😁 that would’ve been great tv.

Nina on one of your videos I remember you wondering why men had to wear hats and them take them off inside and I just so happened to watch another video that touched on the topic, apparently it came from back when soot from chimneys were a much bigger problem since hair washing wasnt so prevalent in the 1800s to the 1900s and it started as a way to keep your hair clean from soot, and then you could safely take off your hats when inside where you could keep your hair clean. Figured I'd share ! :)

I saw it put really well once. The issue with the modern day is that we are not overly sensitive for ourselves, but overly sensitve for others. one of the queens revealed that the version they had on the ipods was the clean version which didn't include half the words hence why both of them were not lipsyncing half the time
